ALERT: Severe Weather Event Activates Emergency Overnight Shelter at Arcata House Partnership

ALERT 2/3/25: Severe Weather Event. Based on NWS Eureka predictions for rain and below freezing temperatures tonight, AHP will activate Emergency Overnight Shelter today, 2/3/25. Check-in for overnight sheltering will be available from 1pm – 4pm. Space is limited. Individuals, couples, families, and non-aggressive pets are welcome. HTA has been notified. Bus transportation will be free today to anyone seeking respite from the weather. Volunteers will be needed for all shifts throughout the week and should expect activation notification.
