All Americans and others worldwide, friends and adversaries both, saw last Thursday’s debate and, other than the 30% that can’t think for themselves, understand the two candidates clearly. For those that admit Biden’s dementia but claim “it’s his team that matters, not just Joe”, remember it was that “team” your talking about sent Joe out on that debate stage. If they screw up that badly, imagine all the other mistakes they’ve made and thank God they haven’t been asked to decide about kinetic or nuclear war with significant adversary.

Biden is going to lose by a landslide and drag the entire Dem ticket down with him. Blame it on Jill and DNC leadership that corrupted the selection process, primary debates would have averted this trainwreck.

The Fascist Biden Regime did that!

Diaper Don…..

The comic Noel Casler worked on Celebrity Apprentice for six seasons. Unlike his colleagues, Casler thwarted his nondisclosure agreement, enabling him to tell us what he witnessed over his time working on set in close proximity to Trump. The following quotes are taken from this interview clip and this article:

“He’s [Trump] incontinent from all the speed, all the Adderal the cocaine that he has done for decades. All that stuff has a laxative effect on your bowels and his are uncontrollable.”

Casler said that Trump has been wearing ‘diapers since probably the 90s’. Adding that they often had to stop the show in order for Trump to change his diaper, Casler said that Keith Shillers’s job was to take Trump offset and wipe him down. “Our nickname for Keith was wet wipes.”

BREAKING: Top Two Democrats Have Decided That “It’s Over” for Biden

This report comes from Bill O’Reilly, who described a private meeting where the powerful duo delivered a stark message to Biden.

Barack Obama and Ron Klain, Biden’s former Chief of Staff, have reportedly told Biden directly: “You can’t win. You cannot beat Trump… If you don’t get out, you are helping evil.”

I think sending Joe to debate when it would surely display his mental incapacity was not a screw up.

Much more likely it was a planned betrayal by DNC/Dem elites to get rid of a terrible candidate.

Biden will eventually bow out of the 2024 election but first the Bidens are gonna make sure he gets paid for that “service”.

Do you think Bidens will relinquish their candidacy for $20 million? Or will they demand $60-100 million from the DNC to save down ticket?

The Bidens are the Delaware Hillbillies, grifters that sold out America to our adversaries, China in particular, and the greatest threat to our democracy in a century at least. Insiders say his brain only works 10am to 4pm.

This coverup has been going on for 4 years, Biden has been a puppet for 4 years.
Who knows who actually runs this government?
Most likely Obama, in a secret, completely unconstitutional, illegal, un-American arrangement.

There is no outrage by lefties at this. They are shameless, willing to do anything to get and keep power, including politicizing the federal govt and courts to wage intensive lawfare against political oppenents.
This is grossly unAmerican.

You could also include some facts in your musings.
Things have been going comparatively pretty well for the several years.
Although, as your comment points out, the Democrats sure could stand to have a better PR department.
While it’s baseless to suggest that Biden is a mere puppet, I think it’s also important to remember that (despite what the Supreme Court seems to think) the President was never intended to be a dictator.
A good President should work with a competent and qualified team.

And I’m not sure what you’re even imagining when you say there is no outrage by “lefties {sic}”.
Progressives are outraged that the DNC steamrolled Bernie in the 2016 and 2020 primaries.
It’s not that we would be “willing to do anything to get and keep power”, but we’d sure appreciate at least a seat at the table.

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, wields influence over the White House through its financial clout and close relationships with government officials. Here’s a breakdown of its influence:
* Financial clout: BlackRock manages trillions of dollars in assets, giving it significant leverage over companies in which it invests. This influence can indirectly affect policy decisions.
* Relationship with government officials: BlackRock employs former government officials and has frequent communication with current ones. This can provide BlackRock with inside information and influence policymaking.
However, the extent of BlackRock’s influence is debated. Some argue it has undue sway over government policy, while others see its influence as a natural product of its financial power.

For 6 months only. It’s on a rotating basis.

Hungary has already been sanctioned by the EU for prior actions.
Hungary, a self-styled “illiberal democracy,” has been penalized for what officials in Brussels see as backsliding on democracy, with the EU freezing 6 billion euros ($6.4 billion) of funds meant for the Central European country.

Biden is done. Bet on it. Too many prominent Democrats have suggested he’s brain damaged. They can’t walk that back. They have to remove him, and they will. The only question is when. If they’re smart, they’ll do it immediately. If Kamala’s going to be the nominee, she might as well be the president first. That leaves the question of Trump, and his sentencing on July 11. Biden’s collapse makes this a much more perilous moment than it was. At this point Trump is not just the Republican candidate, but effectively the presumptive president. If you’re going to put him in jail, it had better be for a very serious crime that everyone agrees he committed. Otherwise you risk destroying the system completely and forever. We’re in legitimate danger. Democrats need to pull back

Anyone who has ever been around a sunsetting family member can see clearly that Joe is sunsetting. Look at his debates from 4 years ago compared to today. Can u imagine Joes mental state in 3 or 4 more years?

Yes, but only a damn fool would think this will stop Jack Smith. The President’s personal actions are not protected. This will end up being a non-decision by the Supreme Court. Jack Smith will be charging Trump with being felony ugly…. Among other crimes. They just want to put him in jail, they don’t care how it is done. And Smith has huge support.

I actually agree, the true leftist wet dream is to reinstate Bolshevism, whereas the Fascist movement was born to counter Marxist activities that were trying to forge Communist movements from the discontent of the commonman of every nation at the time- a Nationalist reaction to Internationalist provocations.

Solzhenitsyn and Dostoevsky, both initially supporters of the Red cause based upon their disapproval of serfdom, came to write in depth concerning how horribly that discontent was used to craft a butchershopping horrorshow, each voicing his regret. We are so fortunate to have their documentations.

Hitler has the pop-historical distinction of being Humanity’s Ultimate mass murderer, films come out of Hollywood every year reminding us of the objective Evils of National Socialism, (because- EVIL), why not even 1 film about the Holodomor, or a guy who makes Hitler look like a mean kid with a rubberband gun, Ginrikh Grigoryevich Yagoda, who alone was responsible for an unthinkable scale of ethnic cleansing, approximately 9 million deaths of mainly Christian peasants amongst the uncountable numbers who perished under the Russian/Chinese/Cambodian Soviet systems?

Why not 1 film regarding the German Civil War of 1918-1919 that laid the foundations for what was to come?
Because they would be viewed as Antisemitic, due to the fact that the entire leadership of the communist factions seeking to overthrow the German government was Jewish?

I think it’s very important to remember- the reason why radical leftist internationalists are quick to label anyone who dares push back against them as “Fascist”, is because past the tipping point where the soft lie of “socialism” becomes the brutal truth of Communism, the only thing that more effectively counters their God-less meat-grinder ideology, is the eventual self-imposed famine.

“Gentlemen, I have come to the inexcusable conclusion this morning that we have fought on the wrong side. This entire war we should have fought with the fascists against the communists, and not the other way around.
I fear that perhaps in 50 years America will pay a dear price, and become a land of corruption and degenerate morals”

Patton. Although a successful general, a bit of a nut job. As to “Marxism”, etc, in the USA — a giant red herring, fed to them by “Control”. If Control reported “Marxist” helicopters flying, some minions would run out and fire … at the Coast Guard.

I’m sure you are eminently qualified to determine who is a nut job and who isn’t, based of course, on if they agree with you or not. It’s amazing the geniuses who have been branded “nutjobs” throughout history, because they hold an irreverent view on 1 choice topic. Maybe their high intellect allowed them some immunity to what is otherwise a collective madness. “A sane person in an insane world, would seem insane”, as the saying goes.

Spoiler alert: Cultural Marxism, or “Critical Theory” a’la the Frankfurt School, is the root structure of every blossom of nihilism and collective insanity we suffer today. It is the hidden left-handed path of the Control you reference.

Oh don’t get me wrong, Bill. Patton was remarkable, an amazing warrior. True. Did fine work against fascist Hitler. But the reincarnation thing. Claimed he was once a Roman legionnaire, in the 14th-century army of John the Blind of Bohemia. And a story is British General Harold Alexander once said to Patton, “You know, George, you would have made a great marshal for Napoleon if you had lived in the 19th century.” Patton replied, “But I did.” Trump, a second comer himself, in the eyes of some, would have lov… told Patton he might have been a sucker and a loser over and over and over again. Gawd bless.

It’s no just Jack Smith, but DC and Georgia as well.
If he gets away with immunity, he will leave his loyal supporters twisting in the wind. Those who already admitted guilt and other such as Mark Meadows awaiting trial. In Georgia. Meadows and Giuliani and more than a dozen others have been charged in Arizona. Trump wasn’t charged but named as an unindicted co-conspirator (a label he knows well).
Leaving people twisting in the wind is something he’s done all his life. This time, because of 1/6, it has caught up to him.
The documents case. He could have done what every other president has done when they find classified documents and said “Whoops, my bad”, but instead he and his staff denied, lied, hid, moved, and did everything in their power to keep those boxes of documents.

For a moment it could be hoped that Biden’s obvious mental deterioration on display in the debate would allow the Democrats pull up their big boy pants and replace him with a viable or at least not senile candidate. But apparently they, like commenters here, are so wedded to the idea that offering any alternative will ride to victory on the sole issue of hating Trump. No wonder no politician with a modicum of morality or common sense will not waste their efforts to enter in this cesspool of hate even to save the country from itself.

Justice Thomas wrote this in the opinion of this case (regarding the unconstitutionality of the appointment process for Jack Smith as Special Prosecutor):

“I write separately to highlight another way in which this prosecution may violate our constitutional structure. In this case, the Attorney General purported to appoint a private citizen as Special Counsel to prosecute a former President on behalf of the United States. But, I am not sure that any office for the Special Counsel has been “established by Law,” as the Constitution requires. Art. II, §2, cl. 2. By requiring that Congress create federal offices “by Law,” the Constitution imposes an important check against the President — he cannot create offices at his pleasure. If there is no law establishing the office that the Special Counsel occupies, then he cannot proceed with this prosecution. A private citizen cannot criminally prosecute anyone, let alone a former President,” Clarence Thomas said. ”

Surely Trump’s lawyers will exploit this.

And then Thomas went ahead and wiped his ass with the Constitution by ruling that the President is above the law.

Then there is the fact that that some folks are so politically biased that they really don’t deserve to have an opinion. Your opinion of Thomas might fit that description.

Thomas’ ruling was that the President was absolutely bound by law and the constitution. And, was absolutely bound by law for crimes not associated with the administration of the office of the President of the United States.

I know this offends you. But, the Supreme court made the decision, and the dissenting justices got the chance to pander to their base. Had the decision been opposite, the same would have been true.

D'Tucker Jebs

To think that any President could get away with what you are implying is ridiculous. One fact… no politician is allowed to take bribes, Period. So, what make you think like Sonia Sotomayor said: “Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon?” Is somehow not going to be illegal?

I assume that you are a Biden fan. This law protects Joe Biden from unreasonable prosecution for decisions he made once he leaves office.

Presidents are not allowed emoluments and yet Tdump profited from foreign governments through his businesses while he controlled them. And the SC just ruled that gratuities for official acts are not considered bribery.

So do you really think he wouldn’t stoop to giving pardons in an official capacity in return for later “gratuities” when the SC has said he has immunity? After all, this is a guy who has made a career out of grifting.

With help from friends, it’s most likely Trump gathered many a slick lawyer soon after he won 2016 and asked “what can I get away with?”. That and being approached by backers saying “you can get away with X if you do Y (for me, other, etc) and we’ll back you to the hilt”. He’s pure business, and well known for being highly transactional and unafraid to push the envelope. With his second Justice in the bag, he was emboldened. With his third, sky was the limit.

He has absolute immunity against actions for which the president has delegated constitutional authority. He has a presumption of immunity for all “official acts” and has no immunity whatsoever for personal actions.

Trump is still very much bound by the law.
The SCOTUS simply said that the president should not have to worry about being prosecuted by some random DA for every action he takes as president. They left it to the lower court to go back and determine whether or not his actions surrounding J6 were official or not.

Plus, even his official presidential actions are not immune, he can still be impeached by Congress.

If you want to change topics to climate change, here’s this current news from here : https://www.kyuk.org/2024-07-01/hurricane-beryl-makes-landfall-with-150-mph-winds-on-caribbean-island

Climate change — and specifically, an established trend of warmer ocean and air temperatures — has led to more intense hurricanes and other storms. And this year, that dynamic is already rewriting the record books.
Since forming in late June, Beryl is now the earliest Category 4 Atlantic storm; it was also “the farthest east that a hurricane has formed in the tropical Atlantic (<=23.5°N) in June on record, breaking the old record set in 1933,” as Colorado State University meteorologist Phil Klotzbach said on X.
Near-record warm ocean temperatures in the Atlantic were cited as one reason National Weather Service forecasters have predicted an unusually active Atlantic hurricane season, with up to 25 named storms.

In this post Kym writes:

I have a belief that hearing/reading the true feelings of folks helps us all learn where we can grow and be better. So I keep the comment section up. Also, from a purely selfish motive, when I started, I wanted to have the kind of debate that improves my own mind and I’m reluctant to give up that vision.

The Daily Booking Sheet has become that place.

Instead, how about a daily article more aligned with Kym’s vision? A daily article such as “Daily Community Discussion” to provide a place for these comments to flourish.

A separate Community Forum website where people are not restricted by FB, X, and WordPress constraints, where Anonymity and Freedom Of Speech are top priorities, where people can create different ongoing discussion topics, would be ideal, imho. There are liability concerns, of course. The mis-dis-information government constraints, laws passed during the Covid era come to mind. There is always the ACLU. Of course, community trust in such an endeavor is paramount — run by people with Kym’s level of integrity and community trust. Community supported like KMUD, if you will.

Open to ideas…please help!

Get a pellet stove, less hassle. I gave up on wood for all the reasons you mentioned and then some.

This padded room of a comment section also exposes some very serious risks to what you’re suggesting.
While free speech is great, in theory- in practice, unless there are some established norms such as doing one’s best to make factual statements supported by actual evidence, a free-for-all comment section risks devolving into a cesspool of rumors, mistruths, and conspiracy theories.

Kym and the Community at large do pretty well here at self-managing those risks.
Everybody is entitled to personal opinion, a voice in the community, Free Speech.
My opinions, of course. 🙂
EDIT: One rule would have to be personal attacks are not allowed.

You could go over to loco where the “established norms” flourish and you’d never have to argue with anyone so long as you keep in lockstep with Goddess Master of Proper Knowledge.
Kym’s comment section may lean right, but is hardly a spring where “conspiracy theories” rush to the masses. Your most serious concerns in this matter seem to assume this comments section is a bully pulpit that will indoctrinate millions. As far as I can tell most everyone commenting has already made up their mind. Like yourself for example.
Bicycle power for the win.

I avoid LoCo for the same reason as many others on here.
And I don’t advocate for censorship, but a conversation grounded in reality where people share actual facts would sure be neat.

Of course, as long as it is the reality proven by the facts you ascribe to and approve of. Aren’t you just The Altruist!

Facts are facts.
Whether or not one ascribes or approves has nothing to do with it.

I am pretty sure you are implying that this is something that everyone who does not believe in conspiracy theories does, but have you ever thought that those youtubers and conspiracy theorist are also using those tatics. Somehow the American population has been convinced that a con man is the savior of democracy, or that the world is flat, and all of history is fake. I like how conspiracy theorist believe they are immune to being brainwashed, when it is the opposite, considering they are not willing to look objectively at what they believe, they just blindly believe it because someone on Youtube said it.

That’s a pretty emotionally charged offering to then employee the word “objectivity.” And so many subjects covered! This is hard for everyone to say so I’ll go first: I don’t know. I know what I have been told and I know what I have experienced directly, and all too often the two stand at absolute odds.
If by “brain washed” you mean when I sit in Silence, Silence is what I experience— Yes. Re. Democracy—https://youtube.com/shorts/ObR-IH409hA?si=HVobolkwneHttb1G

I’m told spinning ‘pear shaped oblate spheroid’. I’ve experienced holographic and multi-dimensional.

For objective fun: this was built by slaves with chisels and mules, as we’ve been told, and as we see all the time-

Anything but the echo chamber…

You must prefer, “He said She said”…

That just brainwash…

I can’t stand people just mindlessly repeating what the hear other people say with quotes…

I’d rather hear pure fiction, as long as is was original…

Since when is fiction unacceptable…???

FFS, if everyone was held to “nothing but the truth”, nobody could say shit without breaking the rules, eventually…

I think that it is important to realize that people know bullshit when they hear it…

There should only be an expectation of telling the truth from government, because too many idiots just believe them mindlessly.

There should not be any expectation of the average Joe to not repeat something they have read or been told that doesn’t have documentation…

Apparently I would now be running afoul of the rules if I were to claim in the comment section that, “The Moon was made of green cheese”, and didn’t provide a link or author, as,”a credit”, (-John Heywood- 1546)…

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Moon_is_made_of_green_cheese#:~:text=It%20likely%20originated%20in%20this,a%20World%20in%20the%20Moone.

…as if providing a link or author to such obvious bullshit would somehow legitimize it…

Is there really a chance that someone might think it’s true…???

(“…this refers to the perception of a simpleton who sees a reflection of the Moon in water and mistakes it for a round cheese wheel.”)

If so, it really can’t be helped, and links and credits don’t necessarily make any difference, as they don’t make anything or everything absolutely true, anyway…

That is a farce.

Correction…

” The moon [is] made of green cheese”

Do I really need to post a link, or can we give our dear readers the benefit of the doubt that they have the sense and the ability to properly sort it out…???

Assuming that they must be protected and shielded from such obvious nonsense is a bit insulting to the intelligence of them/us, if you ask me…

GS is doing no harm, and in my opinion, is getting scapegoated after being nit picked on by a couple of trouble making, instigating, commenters, with a similar MO who are nothing but political adversaries, until somebody with authority piles on to hammer him…

In true Democrat political gang rival persecution and team punishment, with the threat of banishment, possibly to be realized.

It has become the recurring theme…

Do I need a link to legitimize my opinion that this is a fact…???

Sorry, I can’t provide one…

But, I am the author.

Some consistent points in Trumpism include authoritarianism, nationalism, illiberalism, and …. policy fabricated by a group of elites, heavily influenced by a small but powerful religious sect previously OK with Franco, Mussolini, Hitler.

The Trumpist State will include political opponents and multiculturalism being suppressed by a variety of policy means, and by militia and self-appointed lone-wolf deputies. Trumpism is defined by a personality cult that teaches ‘Trump (the Vulgar)’ is a necessary beast, sent by Divine Providence to help “save” the country from open-mindedness, science, the arts, migrants, lgbtq, electrification, and non-existent “Marxists”.

Trumpism promotes a unitary national identity by corralling America’s cultural diversity. Trumpist view of American tradition is somewhat artificial, arbitrary, and erratic, as per his wandering mind (and fingers), but his high-priests of Project 2025 will do their best to … shepherd him.

Trumpism will profess strong devotion to militia, hypermasculinity, and the “traditional” role of women in society. Exceptions for the latter include joining the Court of the Ten Commandments, becoming State AG’s, running fat dark-money operations, and serving in the Trump Administrative State to slay science, education, and … neuter the FBI and any anti-Putin CIA programs.

I would have though the anti-immigrant people on here would have been all over this..
Oh wait…

CRETE, Neb. — A white Nebraska man described as reclusive and confrontational shot and wounded seven neighbors who are Guatemalan immigrants, and investigators said they are not ruling out racist motives.

About 15 people were at the victims’ home, mostly in the yard, when Billy Booth, 74, opened fire from his house in Crete with a shotgun around 4:30 p.m. Friday, officials said.

Racist motives my ass…

This guy reportedly hated everyone…

From your linkless credit…

“Neighbors said Booth butted heads with white neighbors on his street, too.

“He hated everybody,” said Dave Hansen, whose home is next door to Booth’s.”

………………..

What’s next, are the liberals gonna contend without evidence that Billy was closely related to John Wilkes…???

Earlier this year, there was a “single report from the victims that the suspect had flipped them off, told them ‘to go home’ or ‘back to where they came from,’ and ‘speak English.’”
Four of the victims were children ages 3 to 10.

I wonder if Billy Booth was shooting rock salt out of his shotgun…

I wonder if he was defending his watermelon patch from being raided…

My wife was hit with rock salt from a shotgun as she was running away from raiding the farmers watermelon patch in Philipsville when she was a kid, along with three other kids…

And, no, she didn’t drop her watermelon like the rest of them did…

Trump Reposted Call to Jail 15 Politicians From Both Parties
Trump also signaled support for arresting President Biden for “treason”

The post contains a meme that states, “The people that hid the J6 footage are the same people who told you the elections were fair.”

Mike Pence and Mitch McConnell are on the list
