[Update: Photo] Emergency Personnel Responding to Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101
Emergency personnel are en route to the scene of a traffic collision on Highway 101 south of Stafford.
According to scanner traffic around 2:45 p.m. on June 24, dispatch received a report of a motorcycle off the roadway south of the vista point at mile marker 46.
At this time, injuries are unknown.
Redcrest Fire, Rio Dell Fire, and City Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
Once on scene, Redcrest Fire advised to continue one engine and an ambulance, reducing the response to code 2.

Update 2:55 p.m.: Medical personnel are being advised that the motorcyclist, a 34-year-old male, may have sustained a broken shoulder.
Update 3:00 p.m.: CHP has updated the location, now indicating the solo motorcycle collision is located near the Pepperwood exit.

I just thank God that the rider only ended up with a broken shoulder. It is so easy to lose your life on a motorcycle. I don’t know why the rider crashed, but I wish him a speedy and full recovery.
