Will she fix providence? Or Make money for them by cutting services, personnel, and operating cost? They almost have that phone system so fucked up its impossible to talk to your own doctor. And a copay bill six month after a visit is BS too. When you have six visits and copay bills keep coming. The billing department in LA dose answer the phone…

Gee. It would be really great if Providence would hire some more doctors, nurses, and competent office staff here in Eureka. Having to drive to Santa Rosa, or further, for better health care really sucks.

Good luck with that. All provident cares about is the bottom line and increasing profitability.

I made several trips to SF and outside of here recently, as anything more serious than a broken arm or of need of a specialist, I’m heading out of town. I, and others, have had far too many issues with Providence. I thought StJ being absorbed would bring about needed change, but nope! These out of area providers do not have favorable opinions of our region’s healthcare system. These folks are quite aware that rural health anywhere is deficient, but three words summed up Humboldt on recent visits: invisible, mindumbing, and atrocious.
What few good doctors and staff we get don’t seem to hang around long.

Just what providence needs, yet another overpaid do-nothing layer of management. They are soo heavy with upper management it’s a miracle anything gets done at all…..just try to get anyone to answer their phone….they’re all at “meetings ” all the time.

But “my door is always open”…

Providence is heavy in the C-Suite, light in Providers and Services, and thick with the self-promotional Press Releases…

It’s great that stuff like this is advertised for free on this site, but I fail to see how it benefits the Service Area…

Please Providence, reduce the ER wait time. Getting to see an ER care provider can be torture.
