City of Arcata Will Be Restriping Portions of Fickle Hill Road Starting Tuesday

This is a press release from the City of Arcata:

The City of Arcata will be restriping portions of Fickle Hill Road from Park Avenue to a point approximately 1,000 feet northeast of Fernwood Drive. The work includes new centerline and edge striping. Additional improvements include new signage, class III bikeways (sharrows) and red curb paint.

The work is planned to begin on Tuesday, March 19 at 9 a.m. and should be completed by the end of the day. Members of the community are encouraged to follow all safety directions and traffic control devices within the project area. The City apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks residents for driving safely during the transition.
