FUHS Parents on Edge After Social Media Threat to ‘blow this bitch up’

Threats sent out on social media on February 28
Fortuna Union High School parents were notified for the second time today, that law enforcement was present on campus.
The first temporary lockdown happened after law enforcement had reason to believe a suspect in a high-speed pursuit had entered E Building on the Fortuna campus. The campus was cleared, and law enforcement deemed that there was no threat to students or staff.

Alert to FUHS parents about media threats to students.
Just over two hours later, parents were once again notified that law enforcement was present, this time for a threat to the school made via social media. According to the FUHS alert, administrators were working with law enforcement to identify the source of the threat.

Social media account that threats against FUHS were reportedly made from.
Speaking with Redheaded Blackbelt, a parent told us that the lockdowns were hard for parents and students alike, stating that their student has been having anxiety around the increasing threats.
The threat was sent out by a social media account titled ‘thetruthatfortunahigh’. The account has a blank or blacked out profile picture with the caption “fuhs is gonna die” under it.
Redheaded Blackbelt has reached out to the Fortuna Police Department for additional information and to ascertain if the threats are believed to be in connection to the high-speed pursuit suspect that was thought to have been on campus earlier in the day. We will update when additional information is available.

This is unfortunately very likely to increase, not decrease. We have added LGBTQ and gender identity indoctrination to schools, teaching it as normal, when it is far from it. We have allowed walk outs for any little reason and student protests are rampant. We have brought in all manner of other evils into our children’s lives and expect only good to come to society. We allow pro Palestinian protests on our campuses. We protect radical Islamic ideology and even allow it’s followers to be members of the US House of Representatives. We allow sanctuary states and cities. We teach murder of the unborn as a right, yet have no justice system for the rampant crime in society by those lucky enough to at least have been born.
Yet, one can be ridiculed, bullied, told to cease and decist if they believe in God. He’s been banned from society so much that yes, the result has been horrible. Mckinleyville High, day in day out for how long? Eureka Schools and Fortuna Schools the same. May God help us in spite of trying to ban Him from society.
Wow you really are the embodiment of why we call Fortuna Fortucky.
Who’s we? You and the turd in your pocket?
The demonization of people who don’t happen to agree with your ideology (backed up by all your imaginary friends) is lazy debating.
What? You’re not even kidding are you. Alf’s whole schpeel is an essay on demonizing those who don’t agree with him.
That is scary for the rest of us. Y’all are being jinned up to shoot at what you don’t know.
Wow doesn’t attempt to debate. It’s just an observation and a bit of a poke.
I’m not from Fortuna. I wish I could claim I’m not from California. That’s my goal.
I was gonna point that out. Fortuna is friendly. You Alf are obsessed with this gender stuff. You actually have no idea what goes on out there beyond the neo old testament doomsday homosexual obsessed anger worship you watch on daytime TV.
??,
I thought that “Alf” was an alien from Melmac, not from California, or well, Earth even…
Hopefully, that helps.
But if you do choose to exit California, let us know…
It will be one less reason to have to keep my beloved cat in the house at all times…
“Alf” is not to be trusted around cats, from what I hear…
?♂️?
Do please leave.
The “tucky” part was hard earned. Please don’t go and try and change it to something stupid.
Up to about 15 years ago, the very secular mental health training received by our very secular universities in California listed all things LGBTQ and other as serious mental health disorders. Only because of San Francisco politics was it changed to normal. Feel free to call me a bigot all you want. The reality is your entire comment is based on total ignorance.
15 yrs is a long time to hold a grudge. Might lead to a serious mental disorder. Not healthy to hate strangers because they’re not like you.
Wait, what? God is going to smite a high school because she’s mad at the basic Constitutional separation of church and state? She sure took a long time to get steamed up over it.
It’s not in the constitution. Read it cover to cover. It’s a lie perpetuated by those who hate God or deny He exists. Go ahead and continue to propagate the lie in your ignorance though.
It’s in the first Amendment to the Constitution. The establishment clause which states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
“[James] Madison said he apprehended the meaning of the words to be, that Congress should not establish a religion, and enforce the legal observation of it by law, nor compel men to worship God in any manner contrary to their conscience.”
It’s pretty hard to do that without separating church and state.
Also, having stated that, I find people’s worship of a manmade document, the Constitution (a very fine document that has been the basis for American Freedom) odd. It is a political document forged for political ends not a sacred text handed down from the heavens. It’s an old document and it has to be amended multiple times. We’ll likely have to amend it again. It can be wrong.
It doesn’t say “separation of church and state” it says “shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. ” Exactly. This is my point. Our public schools force everyone to accept every kind of religion, but prohibit prayer by Christians. The very idea that children are being indoctrinated on alternative lifestyle, but anything Christian is prohibited is a severe violation of the first ammendment. That’s fact.
Thanks for helping point out how unconstitutional California schools are.
Your views are appreciated Alf.
Leftists hate God because they want his job! ?
Modern day wars will be fought ideology /culture against ideology /culture, not nation against nation. The left has grown to detest anyone whose ideology and faith conflict with the new anything goes mentality. They bang a drum for the coexistence of every iteration of human freak show except for the jesusfreaks….
Don feder on the American Family Association in his column The Daily Stand points out a few interesting conflicting points of view and how God is being systematically erased:
“Judeo-Christian (or Biblical) morality teaches objective ethics — applicable for all time and in all places. Leftism teaches that morality is subjective (in a constant state of flux) and that anything can be justified if it advances the revolution.
Religion puts God above the state. Leftism says the regime is God – the source of all blessings.
Judeo-Christian ethics says the natural family is essential for social cohesion. Leftism says the family is whatever we say it is, and really not that important, anyway.
The Judeo-Christian worldview says God created man and woman and intended for them to complement each other. Leftism says male and female are meaningless concepts, and that to believe otherwise is bigotry.
Western religion says rights come from God (“endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights”). Leftism says rights come from the Supreme Court, Democrat Party platform, or some other idol.”
Since “god” does not actually exist outside your mind, erasure is not necessary.
And to think, people once said that a Catholic president couldn’t govern the U.S. effectively because he would have to answer first to the Pope, who is the voice of God.
The government as a whole is not prohibiting anyone from quietly praying in the school. Publicly taking one sect only and having them start the day with prayer is the government endorsing a religion.
FindLaw states, “When considering the law with respect to public school prayer, it is important to differentiate between school-sponsored prayer and voluntary prayer. A school violates federal law by setting aside time or space specifically for “prayer,” but that doesn’t mean students are prohibited from praying voluntarily. For instance, a student who says a prayer to herself and then does the sign of the cross (a common Christian ritual) before taking a test is not violating the law. Similarly, someone giving a graduation speech may invoke religion as long as it is clearly not endorsed by the school.” https://www.findlaw.com/state/california-law/california-prayer-in-public-schools-laws.html#:~:text=While%20many%20state%20laws%20mandate,may%20honor%20this%20custom%20voluntarily.
A good example. I was in school in Missouri for a few years between stints in Eureka elementary schools (my family had a hard time settling down).
Anyway, and this was right around the time that SCOTUS decision came down. Every morning there was a prayer before class started. Keep in mind this is the buckle of the Southern Baptist bible belt. It was still required (ignoring the decision). I was a Catholic kid. That was weird enough, but the teacher was a wonderful Jewish lady, who had to lead the very Baptisty prayer.
Also to add that the 1797Treaty of Tripoli, right after John Adams became President says, right there:
As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion…
And then in 1802, Thomas Jefferson said this:
“I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ‘make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building a wall of separation between Church & State.”
And before anyone says “But it’s not in the Constitution!!!”, Alito in his draft against Roe vs. Wade cited Matthew Hale, a 17th century jurist from England (and a real woman hating jerk). So if the SCOTUS can step outside of the Constitution to frame their decisions using the ideas of a Brit from a century before the US even existed, using actual written views of the Founding Fathers isn’t wrong either.
I think, Alf, that your failure to understand that no religion–not Buddist, not Christian—can be forced on the students, but all students can choose individually to pray to whatever god they choose is certainly an indictment of something.
There you go again, saying I said, or misunderstand something not even stated or inferred. Very common among the left.
What you don’t seem to understand is that LGBTQ and Gender identity are indeed mandatory in school. Indeed, this group is a Cult religion that, for example, the “Sisters” expressly go out of their way to slander and spread hate about Christianity and anyone else who disagrees with them. Thus, as a Satanic religion, it has no business being forced on children at school. The parents aren’t even allowed to be informed of what is being done in school on this matter.
Quite the imagination.
Huh. I went to public schools in several states and cities. Right here in Humboldt, too. Not a single one forced any given flavor of religion. A teacher here or there might have worn their beliefs on their sleeves (or neck), but that was purely individual expression, and not a systemic endorsement. Now if you went to say, St. Bernard’s, well….you should expect that. It’s clearly a religious-driven education. You seem misinformed yourself. Go start your own commune if you wish. Just follow the local laws and make sure you get all the permits for the compound.
“In 1527, Henry VIII requested an annulment of his marriage, but Pope Clement VII refused. In response, the Reformation Parliament (1529–1536) passed laws abolishing papal authority in England and declared Henry to be head of the Church of England. Final authority in doctrinal disputes now rested with the monarch.”
______________________
I always figured that, even after almost 250 years, the people that had recently emigrated from England to America, and/or their descendents, hadn’t forgotten this usurpation of religion and it’s ultimate hierarchy by England’s King Henry VIII.
So, America’s tentative new representatives possibly felt it necessary to address the issue first and foremost, ruling such further nonsense out, with the first Amendment to the Constitution…
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
If Congress is not suppose to enforce observation of religion, why are Christmas and Easter legal holidays?
“They were approved, not because the government wished to force celebration, but because there was no reason to deny the legislation. It did not establish a government religion or say that one faith deserved recognition over another. It simply recognized that certain days in the year are commonly celebrated.” https://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2013/02/17/which-holidays-should-government-recognize/secular-reasons-to-mark-religious-days#:~:text=They%20were%20approved%2C%20not%20because,the%20year%20are%20commonly%20celebrated.
I vote for employees to get a set amount of holidays which they can take off according to their personal needs whether it be Ramadan or Christmas.
Easter break is being called “ski week” by a lot of schools. And of course, colleges call it Spring Break. Similar to Christmas being called “Winter Break” by both schools and colleges. A subtle way of saying “you can celebrate whatever you want.”
Kinda wishing I was a kid these days; a lot of schools take the day after Halloween off because the kids are ampt up on sugar and can’t concentrate.
“God” did not write and is not mentioned in the constitution.
Though there are certain broad religious principles stated in other founding documents, the Constitution has little to say about religious practice and influence in America.
To your other point, it’s not God “going to smite,” it’s the Satanic forces who are free to do whatever they want because God’s presence is not welcomed.
It’s kinda cute when kids get so wrapped up in their make believe! Little costumes, cardboard swords. Remember how real it felt?
Dear God,
Save me from your followers.
You think that Fortuna schools are hostile to Christianity?
By state mandate, thanks to our godless Governor and legislature they are all required to teach what I said in my first comment. The teacher unions are right on board with it. So all California schools are under the control of these anti God forces. Christian teachers I know have told me it’s a choice, teach this garbage or quit. There’s no such thing as a safe public school anymore for Christian teachers or children. So much for tolerance. It’s tolerance only for those who agree with this indoctrination. It’s the exact opposite for those who disagree.
What on earth are you talking about. If wager at least 1/3 of Fotuna schools teachers are practicing Christians and a larger proportion of students come from Christian households.
Fortuna is a very heavily Christian town across the board. As a non Christian who is in Fortuna regularly it is always striking to me how prominent the Christian influence is
What Alf may be alluding to is the late Sept. legislation passed by Governor Newsom. It includes mandates that public school teachers be better trained to support LGBTQ+ students (who have some of the highest suicide rates of all teens), that schools provide gender-neutral bathroom spaces, and which gives the state the right to reduce funding to districts that ban books or fail to comply with the 2011 Fair Education Act.
That law required history textbooks to include the significant contributions of a broader diversity of people. So ALL our students may see themselves as having a role to play in shaping history, and our nation, too.
There are no mandates for Drag Queen story hours, no Queer Kama Sutra flooding school libraries. Kids are not forced to salute the rainbow flag. “Gender” in the elementary curriculum means examining how the roles of men and women have changed over time. At the high school level, lesson plans may include learning about the historical importance of the Stonewall Riots, Harvey Milk, or Bayard Rustin.
The fear of children being brainwashed by the state should be directed to states that are actually backsliding into book bans, homophobia and xenophobia. “Indoctrination” (sectarian OR denominational) is expressly prohibited by the Fair Education act, look it up!
I think we can pretty much disregard anything Alf says.
No public schools are hostile to Christianity.
It’s called “Engineered Erosion Of The Fabric Of Civilization”. I’ll leave it to be argued as to who’s doing what to perpetuate the situation.
The left has been on a race to the ethical and moral bottom for decades and we’re paying the price now.
The last student walkout was because of a teacher touching kids. The student body found it necessary to speak up for their female cohorts
Your God. Not everyone else’s, yours. Let’s start the conversation there.
This is the most brain-dead take I’ve read in a minute
You’re on to something. The left has been on an ignominious race to the moral bottom for decades and the results are everywhere.
I am right with you on all of this. So many people want to stick their head in a hole and act like none of this is true.
Wait until the threats stop and something really happens. All these commenters below will be asking for prayer for whatever happens.
Keep allowing the border to be wide open keep allowing our young children to be indoctrinated and see what happens. There are some things children just don’t need to see or hear until they are old enough to understand.
Most of the people coming across the border are more devout Christians than your average American. Central and South America take their catholicism pretty seriously, in general
Well if they take it so serious why are they committing a crime? Coming over ILLEGALLY is a crime and committing a crime is a sin. So sorry they don’t take it to serious.
Catholicism as a system of religion is not Christian at all. They take what the Pope says above what God says, thus nullifying them as Christian. There are real Christians in the Catholic Church, but, like many other “Christian” cults, anyone who puts any man’s word above God’s word is being deceived. As far the southern border, no real Christian would invade another country in this manner, so no, they aren’t devout Christians. They are cheats and thieves.
I’m just glad no one censors or deletes your comments on here. If this was posted on Loco no one would ever see it. Supposedly their mod can’t be controlled because she’s not an employee. Sounds like BS to me. I hate that garbage site. Even if you don’t like someone’s opinions there’s no benefit in deleting their post. Thanks for this site to allow people to say what they think.
Yes! This is a great site for freedom of discussion- with all it’s warts…
Check out this YouTube short, this is from an interview with an actual Russian spie defector back in 1984.. The whole interview is also on YouTube and is scary as f***.

Here’s another good one from Paul Harvey from 1965..

That’s an instagram profile, so it’s that easy to create a nontraceable anonymous social media account, why does Meta allow this on their platforms??? This account should have been reported identified, the individual already should have been arrested but our failed leadership let the cart get ahead of the horse
I agree.
On a separate note, what ever happened with regard to the threats at Mckinleyville earlier this school year?
They figured it out.
There was never any actual threat to anyone’s safety.
https://www.northcoastjournal.com/NewsBlog/archives/2023/12/19/sheriff-suspect-identified-in-mckinleyville-high-threats-case
Hmmm….who’s the 3 followers and the 113 listening?
Could be groupies. Could be Leos. Not everyone following or listening agrees with the person or their comments. Similar to someone who tunes into both NPR and the local KINS, they want to hear both sides. Or, they want to be ready when an attack comes.
This is very sad as a child myself there are better ways you can do this just go to the administration there are ways to deal with depression that don’t involve killing people
