‘I Knew It Felt Wrong’: Woman Alleges Fired Fort Bragg Police Sergeant Chris Awad Used Her Arrest as a Pick-Up Strategy

When investigators questioned how and why he had befriended the woman, he asserted during multiple interviews that the relationship grew from his kind-hearted, nice-guy gesture of offering the woman a ride if she was ever considering drinking and driving again. He went so far as to assert he offered rides to Fort Bragg residents on multiple occasions, men and women alike.
Another woman has come forward revealing she too was offered rides by Awad after he arrested her for a DUI in July 2014. This woman asserts Awad’s offer was not born out of kindness, but manipulation. After feeling pressured to give the officer her phone number, Awad contacted the young woman on multiple occasions attempting to flirt, asking her on dates, and at one point offering to drive her over five hundred miles to Portland, Oregon despite her clearly saying there she would be visiting her boyfriend.
This woman, who will remain unidentified and we will refer to as Jane Doe, read our reporting on the misconduct that led to Awad’s termination and told us she was moved to tears realizing that the officer from nearly a decade ago had found a way to use his badge and authority to interact with vulnerable women and “serve his own intentions.”
Jane Doe has deep ties to Fort Bragg where she attended elementary, middle, and high school. Multiple members of her family have found themselves on the wrong end of the law and are well-acquainted with the criminal justice system.
In July 2014, Doe was 21 years old living on the East Coast for work. That month, she flew back to Fort Bragg for a friend’s wedding.
On the day of the wedding, she drank beer and wine and got behind the wheel to drive home. Realizing she was not fit to drive, she pulled to the side of the road to get some rest, leaving the engine running to keep her warm on the cool coastal night.
She awoke to police officers knocking on her window. She recounted to us that Officer Christopher Awad took lead that evening in conducting her field sobriety tests. She was drunk, arrested, and booked to go home the following morning.
The next evening, Jane Doe said she went to a Fort Bragg restaurant for dinner with friends. To her surprise, Officer Awad from the night before entered the restaurant and approached her table.
In front of all of her friends, Awad tells Doe, “I didn’t realize you were [her name], had I known that I wouldn’t have given you the DUI.”
With her friends looking on and the officer who arrested her talking openly about her DUI, Doe became “stressed out and nervous”.
While telling the table about Doe’s arrest the night before, Awad offered that she could always contact him if she was ever considering driving drunk again.
Doe was young and embarrassed that the officer was speaking so openly about her arrest. When he asked for her number, she gave it to him, hoping the interaction would be over as soon as possible and Awad would excuse himself.
After the wedding weekend, she flew back to the East Coast and she found it odd that the officer who arrested her was texting her more than expected. In his texts, Awad attempted to further his relationship with the young woman. He asked her when she would be returning to Fort Bragg suggesting the two hang out when she was in town.
Jane Doe said Awad’s attempts to converse with her were confusing. She heard through the grapevine the officer was in a relationship and his text messages did not seem like those of a man committed to his partner.
In December 2014, Jane Doe returned to Fort Bragg for Christmas to spend the holidays with her family. She bought a bus ticket to visit her boyfriend in Portland during the break. Somehow, Awad found out she was in town. He texted her to hang out. When she declined to hang out citing plans to visit her boyfriend, Awad insisted that she skip the bus ride and let him drive her to Portland instead.
Jane Doe declined his offer for a ride. When she returned to Fort Bragg from Oregon, he repeatedly invited her on a date, even though Jane Doe had told Awad she had a boyfriend and he was in a relationship at that time.
To Jane Doe, Awad’s amorous intentions were obvious. She decided to block him and never spoke to him again.
Since then, her experience with Awad was known to few. Besides a few family members, Jane Doe’s bizarre experience was logged away as a weird memory of young adulthood.
Eight years after Awad’s “awkward and uncomfortable” attempts to charm Jane Doe, a family member sent her our recent article about Awad’s termination from the Fort Bragg Police.
Upon reading that Awad had used the promise of rides to another woman he arrested, she said she realized that the officer had “used his power and authority to wiggle his way” into relationships with vulnerable women.
“I had known for a long time that the situation I was put in was not okay and not appropriate,’ she said. “I knew it had felt wrong and gross.”
The fact Awad had used his nice guy routine on multiple women demonstrated to Jane Doe that “he was very much aware of what he was doing. He had power and authority and he was going to use it to pick up women.”
Both women, Jane Doe pointed out, were intoxicated and at the whim of a man wearing a badge.” He took our place of vulnerability and used it to serve his own intentions,” she said.
Awad’s attempts to woo Jane Doe were unsuccessful. But, if she had been living in Fort Bragg, she could see how a woman would feel forced to give Awad whatever he wanted. “If I lived in town at that time and he was pressuring me to spend time with him or go on a date, I would be afraid to say no.”

I once was ticketed by an HCSO deputy. When he finished writing the ticket he asked for my phone #, insisted it was part of his “report”. Naively, I complied. 2 days later I got a call from HCSO saying they had received a report that my husband was beating me (absolutely untrue). So weird. Never trust a cop.
It’s tough to find a decent single man in Fort Bragg, or one with a job anyway…
Was it the sexy beard? The Gun? The Uniform?
Two hookups in a career, almost anybody could accomplish it!
Be careful out there!
This is a painful article. Is there a code of journalism in RHBB and what does it say about anonymous sources and the purpose of using them? Because it seems this man has already paid a penalty for his poor behavior, is no longer in an official position and it is unclear what an anonymous source, who I admit sounds reliable but there is no way to verify it, can add to it.
Well it adds some context to a story that was a little confusing when first reported. Many people commented on the original story that he didn’t seem like a good candidate for being completely barred from law enforcement work in California. This story gives a wider picture of a man who appears to have engaged in the abuse of his authority at least twice in pursuit of sexual gratification.
As to anonymous sources, they’ve long been essential to journalism that exposes powerful people and agencies up to no good. It requires that the reading public trust thar the reporters did their diligence on verifying the person’s identity and access to the claimed knowledge, but RHBB seems to have that credibility with most people.
I was one who tried to put it on the spectrum of bad. Ew. I feel dirty.
A disturbing pattern of abuse of authority.
Probably a lot of iceberg still under the water.
Brave people speaking up, and a powerful journalistic phenomenon, team up to, hopefully, limit this type of $#!+ moving forward.
She had that credibility, RHBB chose to repost this article which was written by an individual who has a terrible reputation for false bias articles. Anything that comes from Matt LaFever is more often than not just hot gossip garbage. She has lost my trust in what she chooses to write and post.
What else has Matt LaFever written that is at the level of “hot gossip garbage”? I’ve never heard that claim against him
From the previous Matt La Fever Awad article…
“On August 6, 2020, Awad’s home was raided by a joint team of Homeland Security Investigations, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, and the District Attorney’s Office. Though never confirmed by official sources, it is widely believed investigators were searching for illegal weapons of some kind.”
It’s this part that might qualify for being “at the level of “hot gossip garbage” ”
“Though never confirmed by official sources, it is widely believed investigators were searching for illegal weapons of some kind.”
“Widely believed”, by whom exactly…???
No sources for that unsubstantiated speculation given, to be sure.
He admits himself, what he alleges, was “never confirmed”.
More like ” it’s ‘wildly’ believed”…
That’s what makes it unsubstantiated gossip.
(“Hot”… … “garbage”). IMNSHO.
Simple.
Should it be removed…???
Not that I like bad Cops, I dont. But, Awad is no longer a Cop, bad or not.
Continuing to hold him to that standard, after he has voluntarily terminated his certification, seems a bit too vindictive to me…
Is it just adding unnecessary insult to injury…???
Perhaps, perhaps not, but to what end…???
What purpose does it serve…???
To seek further punishment…???
To further tarnish a discredited man’s reputation..???
Character assassination…???
Awad surrendered his “stripes” voluntarily.
Why whip him with the application of additional “stripes”…???
Generosity…???
Seems like it’s just kicking a man when he’s already down.
And that’s never a good look.
It would be different if the guy was still a Cop, if he was then he would have the additional scrutiny coming…
But, he isn’t.
So he doesn’t.
He’s now just a mere mortal again, just like most of the rest of us…
Ordinary, that is.
Put the whip down.
It’s the extraordinary journalists that are now in the position of being held to a higher standard than regular ordinary people.
This story is beneath that standard, IMO.
It’s just common scuttlebutt.
I say, it’s past time to move on.
No sense beating a dead horse, or an ex cop.
??It just feels wrong…?♂️??
Sort of like abuse of power.?♂️
Isn’t that the supposed issue…???
Rant over.
Mr. Awad himself says that Homeland Security came to his home looking for weapons. https://youtu.be/GlziXSNIqJo?t=211
Thank you.
Fair enough.
But it’s not like Awad was under oath…
And your link to Awad’s statement is the only source of that allegation given, and for whatever reason, it was not previously provided or referenced by La Fever.
Was Awad La Fevers “source”…???
That would have helped to suffice, as far as being “a source”, MAYBE…
But Awad’s reputation is being called into question by La Fever, so can his unofficial statements really be simultaneously relied on, by La Fever, or anyone else, to reach a solid conclusion…???
That seems a bit contradictory.
Would Awad’s Statement be “Official”..???
A “reputable” source…???
Widely believed…???
I’d say “No”, “No”and “Not so much”, respectively.
Either Awad is trustworthy, or he isn’t.
Either he can be believed, or, not so much.
It can’t be both ways.
I don’t think he can be considered trustworthy enough to incriminate himself, or exonerate himself, or to be used as a journalists “reputable” source, when that very reputation is what’s being called into question.
He seemed to me to be lying about “cleaning” the trigger to his department issued “Glock”…
So, what is a lie and what isn’t…???
But, thanks again for the link.
It’s much better than nothing.
It was worthy of consideration, even though I think he was lying, he did “loosely” mention the search was at least partially for “illegal” weapons…
For what it’s worth.
I didn’t listen to anything beyond that…
Was there ever any proof or mention anywhere of any “illegal weapons” found…?
RHBB commenting rule #9.
“If there is significant evidence (for instance, being charged by law enforcement) that a crime occurred, I allow accusations of wrongdoing. However, please don’t accuse someone by name of a crime when there is no evidence readily available to a reasonable reader.”

Does this RHBB commenting rule not apply to a RHBB free lancer reporter’s article…???
Cont…
This RHBB rule #9, would now pertain to accusations of wrongdoing towards Chris Awad, would it not…???

RHBB Rule #16…
“People in positions of authority or public trust (elected officials, tribal leaders, police officers, judges, school administrators, board and committee members et al.) should not expect to be protected from criticism and/or unsavory commentary.”
________________________
This RHBB commenting rule # 16, NO LONGER applies to Chris Awad, does it…???
He is no longer a public servant, or a “person in a position of authority or public trust”…
He is no longer a “Police Officer”…!!!
There should be an expectation that Chris Awad, in his newfound role as merely a civilian citizen, should be “protected from criticism and/or unsavory commentary.”
Why wouldn’t this Matt La Fever article fall under the same regulations as RHBB commenting regulations…???
Let’s all sigh and take in a breath of fresh air that our Grandmother’s, Mother’s, Sisters, daughters nieces and female family friends will no longer have the possibility of being pulled over by a predator with a badge now that this potential sex offender and traitor is no longer working in our communities where he had the power of law to pull over and subject our local female population to his predatory chase and actions. He was plainly using his badge, gun and power to arrest and power to get females off his hook ? as tools to abuse and sleep with girls women and grandmother’s. This guy could have become even more dangerous and even more predatory, as much as I believe DA Eyster is a crook and a thief and a con man in his official capacity from the way he stole from our residents for years, chooses not to prosecute bad cops etc such as Hendry, DA Eyster did a good job and FB police did a good job getting the predator with a badge off the street. ?? Good job to the good Old boys club at FB Police and Corrupt local DA.
What is “false bias?” Is it someone trying to persuade people he’s biased when he’s really not? If you think the reporter is biased, what is the bias you see? I just see poor choices in doing an article that is solely “he said, she said”, with no actual new chargable allegation, in a situation where the person has already been sanctioned for his inappropriate behavior.
Body cam footage, witnesses. This bolsters the case that he shouldn’t be in Law enforcement. Good journalism doesn’t always tell you what you wanted to hear.
Is that u Awad???
I agree with you on this.
To paraphrase Scott Adams, men should stay the hell away from women…
If a woman wants you, she will let you know. It’s advisable to use a “copulation contract”, but even if the parties involved agree to copulate, if either one says “stop” then the festivities must end.
It’s bad procedure to arrest someone and then initiate a relationship. It’s a conflict of your employment contract, and it’s an abuse of authority.
Enough has been said, and unless legal action is contemplated or initiated, the officer has been relieved, terminated and decertified.
There may be more, but it is difficult to produce blood from stones…
So he didn’t rape anyone or force anyone to do a thing? I wonder what’s the problem? Not being snarky just want to be enlightened. For record, I do not like or generally respect police,. But guys will flirt and try and if that is gross then I guess that’s her perspectice but seems a little exaggerated
When a woman keeps telling you no, I have a boyfriend, that means NO.
Yea I get that.. but while being persuednand asked out may be annoying it’s not against the law, is it? Unless if course she filed for harassment or whatever . . But is asking a woman out boyfriend or not illegal?
I don’t think this story is alleging anything illegal. Simply adding another data point to indicate that the inappropriate behavior that started him down the path of perjury wasn’t a one off.
It’s certainly inappropriate for a police officer to use professional encounters to create access to women to pursue romantically.
It is and he should have been reprimanded for it. As a police officer. But if assholery but non threatening pursuit of women who said no the first time, even in police, was worth these, half the male population would be included in this category. Even Betty White, beloved by the American public, said about the love of her life‐ ” In the aforementioned interview, she explained how Ludden would jokingly ask her to marry him until one day it became serious. For a year and a half, White turned down Ludden’s offer. “He wouldn’t let up,” she once told People.” Pursuit, even pestering women, is a male thing and frankly is sometimes successful because sexual arrangements are innately complicated. To get all self righteously outraged about it to the extent of writing a whole article in this vein seems like a personal vendetta.
A law enforcement officer, sworn to serve and protect, must exemplify strong values, selflessness, and integrity. The alleged badgering Awad engaged in over a period of nearly six months cannot be dismissed as a “male thing”. Awad wasn’t a cat-calling construction worker; he detained, arrested, and booked a woman for DUI. Those that wear a badge must wield the power with care. If a priest began to flirt with a parishioner, their boundaries and priorities would come under scrutiny. If a professor had a liaison with a student, there is no crime but the impropriety is obvious. Awad’s behavior toward Jane Doe demonstrates a man (at that time) without the self-control to maintain appropriate boundaries.
To be fair…
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journalism_ethics_and_standards#:~:text=While%20various%20codes%20may%20differ,others%20and%20public%20accountability%2C%20as
“Journalistic ethics and standards comprise principles of ethics and good practice applicable to journalists. This subset of media ethics is known as journalism’s professional “code of ethics” and the “canons of journalism”.[1] The basic codes and canons commonly appear in statements by professional journalism associations and individual print, broadcast, and online news organizations.
There are around 400 codes covering journalistic work around the world. While various codes may differ in the detail of their content and come from different cultural traditions, most share common elements including the principles of truthfulness, accuracy and fact-based communications, independence, objectivity, impartiality, fairness, respect for others and public accountability, as these apply to the gathering, editing and dissemination of newsworthy information to the public.[1][2][3][4]
Like many broader ethical systems, the ethics of journalism include the principle of “limitation of harm”. This may involve enhanced respect for vulnerable groups and the withholding of certain details from reports, such as the names of minor children, crime victims’ names, or information not materially related to the news report where the release of such information might, for example, harm someone’s reputation or put them at undue risk.[5][6] There has also been discussion and debate within the journalism community regarding appropriate reporting of suicide and mental health, particularly with regard to verbiage. [7]
Some journalistic codes of ethics, notably some European codes,[8] also include a concern with discriminatory references in news based on race, religion, sexual orientation, and physical or mental disabilities.[9][10][11][12] The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe approved (in 1993) Resolution 1003 on the Ethics of Journalism, which recommends that journalists respect the presumption of innocence, in particular in cases that are still sub judice.[13]”
Somewhere there’s a website with puppies, and kittens.
Best way to avoid scrutiny in the press, is to behave yourself.
This right here is the gist of Trent James and Awads remarks in 2025 encouraging RHBB to scrub LaFever’s content after the arrest of LaFever on suspicion of inappropriate contact with minors, and I don’t disagree. (Though with 93 pages of his work live on RHBB site I understand the hesitation to nuke it all….)
That said, this particular article leans into being hearsay-soaked Natl Enquirer -esque non-news.
And LeFever’s comment above : “Those that wear a badge must wield the power with care. If a priest began to flirt with a parishioner, their boundaries and priorities would come under scrutiny. If a professor had a liaison with a student, there is no crime but the impropriety is obvious. Awad’s behavior toward Jane Doe demonstrates a man (at that time) without the self-control to maintain appropriate boundaries.”…and below : ” In the news business, readers have to consider how much they trust the reporter when anonymous sources are involved.” add a valuable and absolutely irony-drenched object lesson in the duplicitous, manipulative mind-bending mental gymnastics that abusers and predators engage in!
Turns your stomach once the truth comes out. 🤮 .
Really? Wasn’t that what I said. As a police officer? But again that is not what caused the removal of his credentials. It was perjury. An actual crime. You are simply riding the wrong horse and double downing on whipping it will not get it across the finishline.
BTW you have a comic book hero definition of a “law enforcement officer.” Selflessness? These are not nuns. Or Superman. There is no requirement for that. But I could wish journalists to have the same requirement as the remaining requirements for law enforcement- strong values and integrity. So what is the value represented by those two articles? That this former police office was a PITA for women and he shouldn’t have done that? Well, you’ll be hard put to find many to disagree with it so what do you want these articles to do?
I mean, this is a small town outfit. Lots of stuff gets printed here that isn’t of earth shifting importance.
Seems like they wrote this article because, following a previous article about this officer’s behavior and the repercussions he faced, a person reached out to share a similar experience that she had. I don’t know what value it would serve toward any personal vendetta, as you pointed out he has already suffered the most severe penalty he’s likely to for his behavior.
Yeah but what was she wearing when she said no that’s kinda of important ..
See my comment to Dr elixer.
No doesn’t always mean no sometimes it means try a little harder so I don’t have to look like I do this often ..HAHA
And this folks is why men are pigs. My mother and father raised my brother and I to be respectful decent men thankfully. Not many left that I see or hear about.
And yet it is not that simple in a world where both women and men play games. This reminds me of the man who told me that I needed to be more respectful and if I wasn’t he was going to put over his knee and spank me. Not very respectful that. Nor decent either. But then humans are kind of like that.
See my comment to elixer and misguided.
When you pull them over, then arrest them.
That’s not something normal flirtatious guys on the street do.
No, he just arrested her and decided he wouldn’t prosecute after he had intimacy and “hooked up” with her…. Kinda like “screw me and ur off the hook and I will bunk the case against you” kinda thing ..
Dirty Cop in my honest opinion
Who is this girl and why are we supposed to automatically believe everything she said? Seems like there’s more to this….
In the news business, readers have to consider how much they trust the reporter when anonymous sources are involved. I will not reveal any identifying information about Jane Doe but rest assured she is stable and has not nursed a grudge against Awad. Her experience with him happened almost a decade ago and when my initial article about Awad was published it was forwarded to her and the memories came flooding back.
You are getting sued!!!!
Sued? For what?
The man was fired from his job for his unprofessional actions. That is a fact.
Now, another woman steps forward, alleging he had acted the same way toward her. Talking to her while her friends were at the table with her. There were witnesses, if that’s the case.
It’s hard to claim defamation of character when actions have already been taken against the man that support the allegations being made.
Every bit of this article is one sided. The female in question [edit] was actually the one to friend request Awad on social media: there are always tow sides to every story. When only one is stated and it is not validated with evidence or facts the person who chooses to publish it without having fact checked the statements is guilty of defamation. You and all these other minions are basing your opinions solely off of what Matt LaDouche has written in this article which is based solely off of one persons statement or allegations. You are just another pawn in this world of woke idiocracy.
Hopefully they edit out the name dropping.
This is an example of how people in authority get away with chit. There’s no benefit motive I can see to put up with your type of response. Why would someone fake this to absorb your Mom outrage? Probably more women (and/or men) out there.
This is also an example of how people in authority- ie reporters- get away with “chit” too. It is likely that this former police officer did this more often than reported. But it is neither why he got fired. Which is how the first story was constructed to read.
All of your one sided misinformation is going to cause a lot of uncomfortable situations. No, I am not Chris Awad bit just know all your false allegations and one sided false content based on one persons statements is complete and total defamation and false allegations. Before publishing an article you should honestly check facts and the entire story in all parties involved.
Wait a second- are you Brett Watson?
Lol who the hell is Brett Watson?
Standby to standby!
..more to this, like witnesses to his actions.
His victims, and there may be more, are vulnerable to his authority as a police officer. An arrest, and it’s consequences are no laughing matter. If a LE officer is paid, and entrusted to enforce the LAW, they damn well better be held to the highest standards.
Sigh. First the man was fired for perjury, not lecherous actions. That he was so lacking in common sense to shop for sex using his job is a problem that needed attention, both because no woman should have to deal with it just because they were stopped by the police and because it is a method that could be easily misused by criminals, which in this case it seemingly was. That attention was paid. But the first article was unclear as to the point it was trying to make and this one mudded the waters more.
You [edit]keep saying he was fired for Perjury. Please look up the definition of that word. He was never fired for Perjury and it was proven in arbitration he testified truthfully under oath. [edit]
Please use only one name and email address per article.
Please stop reposting one sided biased gossip pieces from a known liar. You should be ashamed of yourself stooping to his level of reckless and unethical “journalism”. Posting non-stop defamation articles with absolutely NO evidentiary value, on someone who hasn’t been in law enforcement for years. The obvious pettiness and shear anticliamtic nature of these weak stories, shows there’s no limitations to the level of moral ineptitude you all will sink to, strictly to push your false narrative onto the public. Karma will do the work eventually.
“If a LE officer is paid, and entrusted to enforce the LAW, they damn well better be held to the highest standards.”
And when they have decertified themselves, and therefore are no longer an LE officer…???
What then…???
Should they still be held to the LE Officer Standards…???
(I don’t think so…)
When should that cease…???
(The instant he decertified himself, IMNSHO…)
He’s the first one to be decertified, even if he elected to do so, himself…
This is uncharted territory.
Let’s set the proper precedent, here.
Was decertifying himself a “Cop-Out”…???
(Pun intended)…
I’d say, yes…
Nevertheless…
Personally, I think he should no longer be held to the LE officer Standards.
Where should the line be drawn…???
That means, to me, stop dragging him through any additional, unnecessary, mud, as if he was still a cop, already.
He is not still a cop.
He has suffered the consequences of being “dirty”.
So, stop kicking dirt on him…
He already paid the price.
Continuing to make allegations, without any corresponding charges, starts to reek of defamation of character.
He is a civilian now, not a cop, so it would seem that he would now be subject to the rules of RHBB.
He is no longer a public servant.
That means that if Jane Doe, her benefactor Matt La Fever, or anyone else for that matter, wants to accuse him of a crime or impropriety, let them contact the appropriate law enforcement agency, and press charges if they so desire, not air some dubious, flimsy, dirty laundry on a public forum, as if Chris Awad was still a public servant.
Those days are over.
It’s long past time that LaFever realizes that Chris Awad has returned to ordinary civilian status now, with all of the appurtenant rights, and LaFever must therefore adhere to the relevant RHBB policy against making allegations of wrongdoing by name, when no corresponding arrest has been made, and no such corresponding charges have even been filed…!!!
It’s pretty clearly defamation of character, and possibly libelous, IMNSHO.
Matt LaFever…
Treat Chris Awad as the civilian he is now, not like the public servant he no longer is, that he used to be…
Caution is the better part of valor.
Proceed with caution…
It might be worth considering to remove/ delete this article…
Just my opinion…
Like I said, it’s uncharted territory…
It seems a bit risky…
A good place for an extra lookout…
So how about the cops that have actually been convicted of rape,
Or theft ,Or abusive of power, Or murder, or Etc…
You said “abuse of power”.
Here it is on a platter.
Tiny blue line activities
What a creep!
Because one man who writes articles says these things. This reporter is known for repeatedly posting false bias opinions on his page. Those who choose to believe his stories which are always twisted beyond belief are no less better than he is. Minions of a woke society. Sad and pathetic.
There is already a show with bumbling, clueless cops on TV… Reno 911.
Or, look back to silent films, “The Keystone Cops”.
Seems like what we have here is in the lyrics of a Limp Bizkit track.
Thanks Kym Kemp! What’s the update on the Derek Henry investigation of sexual misconduct while on the duty and in official capacity? Seems DA Eyster is sweeping it under the rug, he was one of their henchmen for a long time, I wonder if Hendry has dirt on other officers and that’s why he isn’t punished for hi actions? Many people connected him with other serious crimes including robbery of cannabis farmers and transporters, there is no evidence but lots of speculation tying Derek Henry to more heinous acts,,, anyone heard of this case? Why does the sheriff say Derek Worked for them since 2008? He was a deputy before that, even back then….. Read this article and connect the blue ? eyes…. Heads up… Dig deeper….
https://whokilledlescrane.com/
All credit to DA Eyster for getting the badge off this liar… One bad apple spoils the whole bunch!
