Joy Edgins Benefit Today

Today, March 1, at noon, the Redcrest Grange is hosting a benefit for Joy Edgins. She was just diagnosed with terminal pancreatic carcinoma. Edgins, who was born and raised here, was a performer at countless benefits over the years.

According to organizers of this event, “quality of time, outweighs quantity of time” so there will be no chemotherapy. Instead, this fundraiser is to get her into an alternative health care facility that “will be able to make her as strong, happy, and healthy as she can be.”

There will be dancing, food, Karaoke, raffle, and an auction.
