Arcata Fire District said, “One Rescue and one Chief Officer were sent to assist with one person trapped inside of the car. CAL FIRE Trinidad, Orick Fire, and State Parks were able to free the woman who was taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.”![Emergency personnel gathered around the overturned SUV. I am just glad she was not hurt worse. Came pretty close to that big tree. Thank you to CAL FIRE Trinidad, Orick Fire and State Parks for getting her safely out of her SUV. Don’t know why she went off the highway, just glad she was not killed.
