Huge Hard Drug Bust at Miranda Bridge by DTF; Two Men in Custody

Vehicle with doors and tail open

Officers thoroughly searched the vehicle of the suspects.

This morning, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on a vehicle traveling northbound on Hwy 101. Law enforcement pulled the suspects over near the Miranda Bridge on Maple Hills Road.

Sgt. Jesse Taylor told us, “We’ve been tracking occupants of the vehicle for quite some time…several weeks.” He said the operation found “seven pounds of meth and a couple of ounces of heroin.”

According to Taylor, they’ve taken two Eureka men into custody–Dan Silva and Matthew John Roberts.

Taylor promised a press release with more information later today.

Meth

One of the finds at today’s bust.

Well u hear wrong this officer is an asshole, damn near anyone will tell you that. He thinks he knows facts and yet there he is wrongly crucifying someone who was actual innocent… I’m so disappointed in Jesse Taylor. So this wasn’t just my case I’m talking about there’s been several different types of cases he disregards the supposed victim and then when he doesn’t get his way he threatens the supposed victim W jail time and charges of their own…

And now, it comes down to me and you. What are we going to do, besides wising up?

We need to join our State Assembly and to do so as quickly as possible.

Ok well did u have 7 pounds of meth? Because although innocent until proven guilty, it’s clear to me that the meth is there…so in this case it appears pretty cut and dry… also it’s been my experience that the ones whining about charges and cases likely committed the offenses…just sayn..

It will cause a brief spike in price, nothing more. Seven pounds of Meth? A complete waste of taxpayer money. The Humboldt County Drug Task Force aint making a dent in shit. All they did was make a different dealer a little richer today. Tomorrow someone else will roll another 7 pounds into the county.

Get past the popo hero bullshit propaganda and think for one minute. Will this bust make any difference at all in meth consumption? Absolutely not. Will this bust or 100 more like it do a damn thing to curb the meth problem? Absolutely not.

They catch two, and three more newbies make up the difference. Until the demand is reduced these busts don’t mean a damn thing – a waste of taxpayer money. Its easy to bust dumb ass criminals, much harder to solve the actual problem.

The war on drugs is a fucking joke and the Humboldt County Drug Task Force is a fucking joke. They used to preach that weed was evil shit that funded terrorism! Oh my! Now their paychecks are partially funded by weed money. Wait maybe they were right about funding terrorists.

You’re right.

A minor clarification … “Their paychecks are partially funded by weed money.”

instead …

Their paychecks are partially funded by $64 taxation on “legal” weed.

So do tomatoes, onions and cilantro. Not to mention olive oil, corn tortillas, bannanas, crude oil, falcons (terrorists go freaky over em), most goods sold by Amazon and Walmart. You can say the whole guacamole support terrorists organizations in some way.

At what expense to the taxpayers?

Like I said, a total waste of time and resources that accomplished nothing toward solving the real problem. Busts like this probably INCREASE the crime rate. Short term price spikes result in people having to steal more for the same fix. Popo be frontin at the taxpayers expense. The War on Drugs – nothing but a taxpayer ripoff.

I think it’s ridiculous that people see a cop doing their damn job that we pay the salary of and think they’re a good cop for it. I find it pretty sad that this is so common. Y’all see a 7 pound bust and say what a great cop. A corrupt and crooked cop will execute busts like this and next day plant the ounce or two they lifted on someone they don’t like. But because that 6 pounds 14 ounces came off the street they’re a good cop. Not saying that’s what happened here either. Have no idea who the cop is Don’t really care either. Anyone who joins that sick brotherhood is not my people

Citizen’s arrest?

Arrest by citizen when absolutely positively required. Far too many capable citizens don’t stand and make arrest when called for. That used to be a crime.

I’ve studied a lot of world history. The repeating fact is “the winners write the history books.”

What about the losers?

They gave up the fight and melted back into complacency.

Complacency towards the California Bureau of Cannabis Control and it’s associated fraud known as $64 is current events. Humans steal other humans present and future by expecting the losers’ submission to authority. It’s my way or the highway. Forget about tolerance and acceptance of the opposition.

In other words …

After “weeks” of tracking them, the authorities obviously decided to bust the culprits* very close to where Kym lives, in order for her to not have to drive far to take photos, and to be certain the quintessential RHBB would cover the story (and the authorities get credit for their ‘success’)!
* – As Kym rightly reminds us, those busted are innocent until proven guilty. (I mean, heck. The guys could have been planning to go as ‘drug dealers’ for Halloween, and the contraband was merely props. Right?).

You get the county and society you deserve. Allow illegal growing in the hills for decades, get more crime. Allow your neighbor to grow indoors on the same block, more crime. Smoke “legal” weed while kids sleep in the next room, degeneracy and crime. Feed the pockets of RAP “musicians” (street hustlers all) and gangsta clothing designers and “security store” owners and “gardening store” operators and dope-promoting website owners and especially traitorous, far left politicians, ever more crime. Crime and immorality is a magnet for more crime and immorality. You wanted it, hippycrites, you got it. Home invasions will be the least of your worries as your children and grandchildren stumble in your footsteps toward a dark, dead future. Thanks, libs.

yet the majority of local methheads we see in the news stem from local conservative family’s, just like these two. i had the opportunity to run into one on my property recently, he claimed to be mushroom picking, his mug shot made the news 3 times in 2019 and there is a road named after his family because they developed it from the old ranch. he was scoping my house/structures to further his hard drug habit. i am on red alert to say the least. but luckily i don’t own a dirt bike or a towable generator. as always the solution to this pollution is education and it will take 20 years if we start today.
