After seeing that motorcycle the rider was extremely lucky to be alive. Don’t know who was at fault, but people please keep your eyes open for motorcycles on our roadway.
Hope they are ok.
That can be s confusing area.
A person, who saw this collision, told me the motorcycle involved was racing another motorcycle (dirt bike). The dirt bike lost the race (fortunately). They said the cyclist who won the race went airborne after the collision. The collision was so severe, they thought surely the rider had died.
Good to read the rider survived.
A person who saw the collision told me the car driver gunned it from the ENF parking lot, trying to get across multiple lanes of traffic.
Sorry, “cowabunga”; i believe you are incorrect. The white car from ENF parking lot darting across hwy 101 is the party at fault.
A speeding motorcycle, and an unsafe maneuver by the car, both appear to be contributing factors. Glad to not hear it was also fatal.
I don’t know how the “F” mr. “cowabunga” (a person by his first post admits to NOT being at the scene or a direct witness), is somehow is able to determine the speed of the motorcycle. please leave you assumptions to yourself. [edit]
The intersection where ENF driveway (W 15th St) meet Broadway is probably the worst for having to have your head on a swivupel. People and vehicles coming from too many directions.
How about a right turn only from ENF parking lot onto Broadway. Others can exit the opposite direction (toward costco) or side near Walgreens.
