Body Found Near College Cove on Saturday

The United States Coast Guard confirmed that a body was found in the area of College Cove near Trinidad on Saturday. According to scanner traffic at the time of the incident, the person was confirmed to be deceased just after 2 p.m. Personnel at the scene were having trouble gaining access to the body. Later in the day, a reader reported seeing a Coast Guard helicopter in the area assisting with the retrieval of the body.
