A worker reportedly left stranded without food or pay at a remote cannabis grow site near Bridgeville sparked a human trafficking investigation after they called the Mexican Consulate. The call led to a Bridgeville man’s arrest this week. Deputies say the worker had to be rescued through flood conditions before the case expanded to multiple search warrants across Southern Humboldt.
