[UPDATE 5:14 p.m.] Shed Fire in McKinleyville Spreading to Nearby Vegetation

At approximately 3:35 p.m. this afternoon, emergency services received reports of a shed fire near 2185 2nd Road in McKinleyville. According to scanner traffic, flames were spreading from the structure to nearby vegetation.

The extent of the fire’s spread is not yet clear, but firefighters are currently on the scene working to contain it.
