‘Armondo Ozawa is Academy of the Redwoods’ Student of the Month for May!’

Armondo Ozawa is AR’s Student of the Month for May! Armondo is the son of Concepcion (Leona) Sousa, Steven Sousa, and Scott Ozawa. In his free time, Armondo enjoys playing video games, drawing, and playing music. Armondo will earn 31 college credits by the end of this semester. In the fall , Armondo plans to attend Folsom Lake college to finish up his general education before he decides what to do next. He is currently interested in exploring options in environmental science, art, and music. After college he hopes to keep his hobbies an active part of his life and monetize them in some way. Of his time at AR, Armondo says, “My experience at AR has been mostly positive. I have really enjoyed and learned a lot from my classes, especially how to better research and use library resources. By far my favorite part has been being able to choose college classes. This last semester I chose classes very closely related with my hobbies and interests and ended up having a lot of fun despite how busy it made my schedule.”
