[UPDATE 9 p.m.: Possibly Not as Reported] Semi Reportedly Off the Road North of Last Chance Grade
According to scanner traffic a semi truck has gone off the road in the area of Last Chance Grade on 101 in Del Norte County.
Responders were having difficult locating the accident. Dispatch said the caller described the vehicle as “0.3 miles west of the roadway.”
Dispatch relayed that the caller seemed disoriented and asked for help being located.

UPDATE 9 p.m.: The dispatcher is now relaying the possibility that this may not be an actual crash but rather an elderly man who is disoriented having a mental health episode.
