New Cannabis Facility in Arcata’s Cannabis Innovation Zone to have Grand Opening November 15

Press release from Bear Extraction House and Axel Properties:

New building in Cannabis Innovation Zone for Bear Extraction

[Photo courtesy of Bear Extraction House ]

The new building in Arcata’s Cannabis Innovation Zone is having it’s Grand Opening Ceremony on Friday, November 15. If you are driving from Highway 101 to 299, look right after the Giuntoli underpass and you’ll see it. The large but well-designed warehouse with wood accents accurately reflects the modernizing of Humboldt’s industry. First timber, now cannabis.

The West End Campus on which the new building sits is already home to BEAR Extraction House, Northern Emeralds, UpNorth Humboldt, Humboldt Apothecary, SOURCE Nursery, Humble Hill and Simple Solutions. Now, 2 more cannabusinesses will join them – Arcata Processing Co. and Flower Company. The new businesses are expected to bring 70+ new jobs to the area in the coming months.

The 23,000 square foot building will contain 10 units. All of the units are currently claimed. One of the units is a commercial cannabis kitchen that will be operated by BEAR Extraction House.  BEAR welcomes entrepreneurs within the community to bring ideas and innovation regarding the licensed cannabis kitchen.

The largest portion of the building is being rented by Flower Co. – a delivery company that distributes cannabis products throughout California – with bases in SF, LA, the East Bay, and Sacramento.

Don’t miss the Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 5550 West End Road in Arcata. The festivities will kick off with a ribbon-cutting at 4:30 pm, followed by a tour of the facility around 5 pm.

Keep your eye out for job postings from Arcata Processing Co. and  Flower Company. Contact [email protected] for inquiries about the cannabis kitchen.

This story is an amazing juxtaposition to the county sending letters to the smallest Legacy growers story. This would be the perfect place for PooPers to be allowed to sell the elite Legacy product. Maybe they will step up to the plate & let the county know they want what we have! Maybe they can host the POOP Rally? (See POOP letter from November 9)

Well, gee, they’re offing you JOBS, after all…

So, after the “permitting process” is finished with you, you will be able to labor for the vertically integrated cannabis corporation, and, let me tell you, corporations never lie about anything, at all…

What a great opportunity for former artisanal cannabis florists, and possibly even more jobs, down on the corporate dope farm…

Thank God for the County Supervisors! What a great idea!

I could never grow under those conditions. I would just turn to another high dollar product to produce. Like an Algae farm and make biodiesel sell it for 2.50 to 3.00 a gallon on the side of the highway. It’s just in my blood.

Well, you are just like that Kalanick guy, who started UBER, now he’s doing a company that “re-purposes” real-estate… I’ve been wondering why these tech-billionaire guys don’t go around and buy up all the dead malls in CA and turn them into “homeless-farms” where the homeless could live and cultivate legal, price-protected cannabis for the “white” market…”, the permits for which would be just “handed” to them, so they could “just get by”…

Too progressive, I know… Kalanick only made $4Billion, after all, off his idea to drive people home from the bar, with a cell phone app…

Core if the argument, and where many people seem to miss the point of the difference between the individual and the larger group.

“If you label me, you negate me”

Toss in a boat load of confusion and you can reshape a society that will eat itself alive.

The wholesale transformation of a way of life, is achieved by fracturing the sense of wellbeing and purpose and interjection of a slow constant drip of…

Yes, “love” or “connectedness “is definitely the higher frequency.

The frequencies that we being manipulated and subjected to that conflict with that love frequency, in the dirty electricity, WiFi, 4/5/6g, smart meters, anything that radiates and disrupts.

What’s the frequency of the earth?

Why does it matter?

Feeling like there is a overall uneasy feeling growing. ..

That link is authored by M.T.S.

Michael T. Snyder is a far-right Christian evangelist crank and conspiracy theorist who has started numerous blogs as a testament to his raging insane belief that the world is about to end. He started with The Economic Collapse Blog in 2007, with constant articles stating how the world is going to hell every single day since the meltdown started in 2007. It seems as though Snyder blames the government for every ill in the world, because without iteverything would be great.

Like most doom-sayers, it doesn’t seem to faze Snyder one bit that every one of his past predictions of economic collapse were dead wrong. This horrendous track record would cause most people to reevaluate their beliefs in the effort to one day be right. Yet, he simply refuses to even address or acknowledge that he has been wrong thousands of times, especially if you count each numbered item of his massive lists. He is hopelessly, cartoonishly insane, seeming to have explosive diarrhea of the mind that no amount of logic can slow or stop.

Open it up to lease or rent and allow us to share your manufacturing, distribution and production license as a DBA. Some of us make unique products and consider it intellectual property. If we can have the freedom to manufacture and then collaborate on distributing the final product I am willing to negotiate a contract. Say 2 days a week @ 1k a month and a percentage of profit. They do it down south.

Think about it or Fuck It, I will just continue to beat ya on the street, lol. Humboldt should be helping me get my solvent free THCa crystals to the Emerald Cup that is proudly made in our hillz. Many cancer patients throughout this great country already have benefited for decades but not in California.

Being able to check someone for warrants, back taxes, child support, or abatement notices would be extremely helpful.

Anytime you can verify an identity around a marijuana business, it’s helpful for collections and criminal investigations.

Sure. Destroy high-paying jobs in the underground and replace with low-paying jobs in town. Disregard that you have destroyed jobs and only count the new low-paying jobs. Call it “job creation”! Every single one of these permitted businesses are paying into a fund to eradicate their neighbors. The owners of the building grew multiple mega-scenes for years, sprayed them with Eagle-20 while pretending to be “medical” and now…magically are heroes to be celebrated? No thanks! It will be an event for the mega-grower-turned-permit buyer elites to clap each other on the back while lowly minions fawn at their feet. A real Trump-like twist to what our scene was…

Agree farce! “Just grateful for employment “ lol. Just what big corporations want to here. Desperation is key to good slaves. Keep em hungry, keep them defenseless, keep em afraid. A desperate human is a docile human. Egyptians had slaves. Tens of thousands. There payment was food, water and shelter. Since they were taking care of with basic needs the need for revolt was non existent. Besides, all weapons were taking away and replaced with tools. No one spoke of freedom, because freedom was propaganda of death. Breeding was encouraged and everyone was happy. They lived in a Socialistic state. The only person who knew they were slaves was the king himself. When all resources ran out from a jaded civilization, they died. The end.

What value do these “high paying jobs” add to the customer? How is keeping prices artificially high in the black market adding value to the customer? Black market cultivators are simply just exploiting customers through illegality. Time to pass the torch. Humboldt had its chance to prove it’s ability to sustain conscious stewardship and you failed. Humboldt is not an agricultural region. The voters of California voted to implement environmental standards. There are very few areas in your region that pass the ag muster. Let the real farmers have at it. We will not fail the customer. Us real farmers in the agrarian zones will grow the highest quality organic cannabis with the utmost integrity, without using pesticides, at the lowest possible price . We appreciate your service Farce up until now but it is time to step down.

lol, legal growers don’t give a shit about their customers. They only care about how much yield per square foot. Triangle growers are internationally recognized award winning marijuana experts….The valley is known for lettuce, tomatoes, pesticides, salmonella, immigrant labor and air pollution.

The customers prefer our traditional weed and the sales figures prove it. Nobody wants any monkey juiced immature get ya high for 20 minutes charge ya out the ass corporate crap weed. Legallettuce my friend, I actually like you and what you have to say usually. If your company is from Humboldt and has the name Lettuce in it then we already know each well and are friends. We have many submissions for EC this year for a few different companies. I know Alec and Ian the owners of SC Labs very well. I use a different lab usually. I usually get about 30 R&D tests a month. Some of this year’s full sun came out at over 30%. total cannabinoids. Also some total terps came out just over 4.5%. I would post results but I would like to remain anonymous on this site as there are all sorts of angry/jealous people here. I wish you well and hope you do well at this year’s EC. I hope you win. I hope I win too. It is going to be a busy week as the Vegas MJBizCon starts on the 11th. Stay for two days and then head to Sonoma County. I would love to skip EC and just hang in Vegas but there is so much marketing potential at the cup.

Yeah, Higher paying jobs, better qualified and Happier “employees” and “Farmers” equal better product. All that can be accomplished for a Bargin to the consumer because of less over head advertising consultants, secretaries, and sketchy expensive odor control measures, that will need to be paid high salaries on the backs of your abused labors…… Back to business school 101 for you Mega..

W/O using pesticides huh? Sure. Just radio active fertilizers, growth inhibitors and regulators, and massive GMO garbage you have boasted about.. covered in air polluted nanoparticles that cause brain cancer and combine with car exhaust to produce green house gasses. The bees are almost all dead. Many people in America have even less access to healthy food. Round up is found in almost every square inch of our planet and bodies, Often Greens are grown with sewage.. yet… you got this.. Sure ya do.. What about herbicides? No mention huh? Pesticide free yeah right. Not buying it..

Yeah, the BM has been providing cheaper better higher quality products even now because of your high overhead Mega.. what you don’t pay in more productive happier Laborers you suck up in Parasitic CEO’s, packaging companies, advertising consultants, and high tech overhead and produce inferior products for more money. The agrain zones are needed to produce FOOD for people to eat.. not a shit tone of weed that we here in the triangle already have covered..

I did not use any pesticides this year on our many acres of day neutral auto flower and full term photoperiodicals. We cover cropped with vetch, peas, barely, oat, ect. We did multiple passes by strategically rotating grazing ruminants, ultimately leaving a few inches of residue that got lightly tilled in and shaped into 12″ beds with t-tape. We did plant multiple beds of beneficial habitat that included alyssum, buckwheat, calendula, yarrow, nectar plants, ect. Our beneficial population was through the roof. Most plants had high levels of ladybug larva on them at some point. Our bee population is tremendous as well. We are not monoculture farmers. We grow many acres organic blue berries and other produce that require hives. Our partner bee keepers could not be happier. Our produce and fruit is CCOF and Organic Certifiers certified. Our cannabis is Envirorganic certified. We are in Wholefoods, Earl’s, ect. We were featured as the number one product for Good Eggs this year at Bottle Rock.

Why would any sane regenerative agronomist use herbicides? I don’t think you grasp the concept of carbon sequestration. All plants including weeds serve a purpose in building healthy soil. Weed identification is used as indicators to the health of your soil. Sometimes we trim the weeds down with tractor implements. The only time this is necessary is when a weed is competing with a plant for photosynthesis. The goal is to sequester carbon! We’re trying to build our organic layer.

All tests have come back negative for Gyphosate or any other banned pesticides.

We had an extremely dry fall. We yielded 3000-5000 pounds/acre of outdoor cannabis that looks like shelf quality indoor flower. With such a bumper crop we will be able to bottom out the legal market in the retail spaces this year. My company’s primary concerns are adding value to customers and tanking the legal and illegal market so you can no longer be profitable.

Permits are easy to get in my area. This year we did about 5 acres of straight outdoor. Next year we are doing at least 10 acres and probably around 50 acres the following year. We try not to scale too fast to avoid sloppy mistakes. A lot of traditional farmers not in cannabis are trying to partner with us. They have a lot of resources to offer.

I lived in Humboldt and Mendocino for many years. Remember back when there were only two hydro shops in Humboldt County? American Hydro in Arcata and the Redway feed shop. Remember John from AH with the mullet twenty something years ago? Most of you are not doing anything special. Most of you are just cultivators, that shop at the hydro store, too scared to step up your game.

lol, 3000 to 5000 on a shelf means nothing. Your biggest issue is my traditional market is already distributed and I have been paid. My legal products are sold but I get reimbursed. You are stuck in one state (many puns) I am not.

What does this mean, well it means the likelyhood of me permitting my other properties is nil. Means next year just as this year I am expanding (indoor is humming, literally, lol) my traditional market size and reducing my legal cultivation site to half. (No I did not and will not backdoor any products I consider it two separate businesses.)

So, what’s the point, well, it means you legal AG growers are gonna have to dump your products. Means more pressure on ya’ll to produce more per square foot. Means your business will not be able sustain itself. Means you’re gonna get swallowed up and sold in a few years. Means I will be doing what I have done and will continue for many more decades to come. I suggest you stick to feeding the masses and leave the war on drugs to us veterans.

I seriously doubt your large scale GMO Auto Flower mono bland BASIC DUDS meet indoor quality… Your low valley flat land lacks the UVB’s, and hot dry summers needed to produce the highest quality… naturally. All you keep mentioning is pesticides Mega. No mention of the herendous fertilizers, Fungicides and other nastie nasties that modren large scale 50-50-50 petrochemical radioactivite salty ass fertz AG mostly uses to pump it’s poison. Cause it’s all about that cheap product right? That’s ok. There are worse ‘legal’ farmers out there than you…And Someone needs to fill the need hyper cheap style box weed line..You can fill that niche if you like..

I actually like supporting my local feed store, “hydro shop” over your Giant Agro Monsatian Chemie pushers any day! On that large of a scale, there is NO way possible that you can ensure the quality and care that us small farmers can! Yeah. Self space huh? Yeah it will probably sit on those selves till the next 3 seasons. But hey, maybe you can come up with clever ways to use that dirt weed as fertilizer for your blueberries!

I am confused it’s either distilled or a live resin it cannot be both.

Live, meaning it has a high percentage of THCa. THCa gets converted to THC at 220 degrees.

In order to distill organic matter you have to heat the material to a vapor and then cool to condense which will convert the THCa to THC thus it is no longer “live.”

So, lol, what was it?

If I were to guess I would say you had live resin and when you heated it it converted to THC. The conversion probably hit your lungs with about 200mg of THC or higher, it’s a lot. Toking on a joint will get you 10 to 20mg of THC as a benchmark. If your new to concentrates I highly recommend to never dose above what can fit on a nail head. Yep, that little and no more, it’s called a concentrate for a reason.

I saw their prices. If you don’t mind paying through the nose for a mystery-bag of mediocre marijuana you’ll love these guys! But then again, the kind of people willing to pay 90$ for an 1/8th – a price not uncommon in certain dispensaries here – are probably just the sort of customers for Flower Co.
