The Arcata Tigers ended a three-game losing skid with a comfortable 80-60 win over Hoopa Valley on day two of the Logger Classic on Friday.

The Tigers opened up a double-digit lead in the opening quarter and held a high-octane Hoopa team at bay the remainder of the way.

It was a dramatic turnaround from the previous day for the Tigers, who came out much more fired up, scoring 25 first-quarter points…
