The Arcata and Hoopa girls are moving on in the North Coast Section playoffs with impressive home wins for both on Friday.
The Hoopa girls, who are seeded No. 2 in Division V, took care of No. 7 University out of San Francisco by a score of 8-5.
The Warriors will now host a semifinal against No. 3 Credo next week, with a date and time still to be determined.
The Tigers, meanwhile won an NCS game for the first time since 2012, defeating Berean Christian 9-4 in Division-IV action.
