A new partnership with Cal Poly Humboldt let 11 graduates earn both an associate and bachelor’s degree in nursing simultaneously, offering a faster path to meeting the North Coast’s growing healthcare needs.

“On Sunday, May 17th, the Southern Humboldt Garden Club held its 73rd Annual Flower Show at the Weott School and it was a big success.”

“This year, eight South Fork High School graduates were awarded a combined $9,300 in scholarships in recognition of their hard work and dedication.”

“The $4,000 scholarship is hopefully enough to be of real service,” said Executive Director Jada Brotman.

“Giving back to the community is important, and Compass Community Credit Union members recently helped two local nonprofits.”
