Press release from Cub Scouts Pack 95 and Boy Scout Troop 15:
Cub Scouts Pack 95 and Boy Scout Troop 15 will once again be doing our annual Christmas Tree pick-up. We will be picking up trees in the Arcata, McKinleyville, and Eureka areas on Sunday December 28 and Saturday January 3 and hauling them to green waste.

There is no fixed charge for this community service – we gladly accept and appreciate donations to help pay for Scout camp and outings this coming year. Anyone interested in having us pick up their tree should text or call 707-273-1997 or email [email protected] and provide your name, address, phone number, and preferred date. Thanks for your support and Happy New Year to everyone.

What a great community service, thank you!
Cut down a tree (or buy one from a poor person living in a trailor parked on an empty lot in town for a few weeks), haul it home, place inside said home for a few weeks, hope it doesn’t catch fire and burn the place down, get the Cub Scouts to deal with it or toss it onto the sidewalk, and call it another successful celebration of paganism.
