Report of Fuel Leaking from Every Pump at Chevron is Not as Reported
Around 1:20 p.m. an all-call went out across the scanner for a “life safety” hazmat leak at the Chevron station in McKinleyville.
The reporting party stated that fuel was leaking from every pump at the station on Central Avenue.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene that was dubbed the Central IC. Once on scene, it was determined that the initial reports were not correct. Water was applied to the ground, however, there does appear to be fuel on the cement. Emergency personnel on scene are putting down absorbant materials.
The remaining units en route were cancelled.

Why is it that the same folks that bring fuel into the county also have the highest gas prices than the other stations they sell to?

California has special requirements for fuel, oxygenated and so for the last 20 years bud. And that’s why fuel is higher here, it’s a special technique that only politicians friends can brew. All politicians suck , demons and repubs, neither party gives 2 sheets about you.

Someone must have been angered by the price of gas, or her burrito wasn’t done properly, or just wanted some excitement to watch, so made a false report. Doubt that Trump is implicated in any manner, except in the mind of some of the commenters below.
