I believe the 2 locations (Shelter Cove Rd/Bear Creek Rd and Briceland-Thorn Rd near Chemise Mtn Rd) are the same place. Have not heard of a Bear Creek Rd.

Bear Creek runs on the east side of Chemise Mtn Rd, then along the south side of Shelter Cove Rd, and then goes under Shelter Cove Rd near the intersection of the two roads. It’s a low area on the road and has flooded before.

I think you are correct. Briceland-Thorne Road goes left at Thorne Junction, while Shelter Cove Road goes right, over Paradise Ridge, and intersects with Chemise Mountain Road.
