Fire in Fire Creek Area

Terri Klemetson of KMUD reported last night, July 4th, that there was a structure fire in the Fire Creek area west of Redway. Calfire Helicopter Down in Northern Mendocino

  UPDATE 2:26 P.M.:A spokesperson for Calfire, Julie Cooley, explained that one of the local Calfire helicopters, #101, which is stationed at Howard Forest Compound made an emergency landing.  Ukiah Ambulance, Little Lake Fire, and Calfire responded as a precautionary measure but there were no injuries.  What caused the emergency landing is unknown at this time. ———————————— There has been
