One of the SF Cubs, after being in remission from cancer for seven months, has had to resume her battle –this has meant an isolation not only from her friends and teammates but from her family. Hearing about this, the Ferndale team warmed everyone’s hearts with a display of kindness and sportsmanship that should provide an example for all of us.
