A PG&E spokesperson said the company plans to hire another contractor to clean up the debris and repair the roads as soon as they receive the permits from the county.

At the board meeting last Thursday, those attending delved into the athletic discipline policy, contacting legislators about getting money for budgets, low enrollments at Whitethorn and Casterlin schools, high school students leaving campus, upping the athletic director’s position to a paid job, and budget as well as grants, of course.

All afternoon buses to the High School are canceled except the west bus that left early.

“Continuous wave erosion is undermining the stairs that lead from the lighthouse area down to the tidepools, and this is compromising public safety, which is our highest concern.”
