“The outstanding suspect was identified as being a
* black male adult
* approximately 20-30 years old
* short / thin build, and
** possibly armed with a firearm.**”

“After approximately two hours, the victim was able to escape through a window of the residence.”

We are closely following this fast breaking situation and will update as more information comes in.

“We’ve had about 5 people call in over the week reporting that they found something similar to 1F written in the dust on their window.  I believe all occurred while parked at the mall.  We currently do not have any evidence that these local incidents are connected to kidnapping or human trafficking, or if it is a prank.”

“During their investigation, deputies learned that a civil dispute between six individuals had occurred at the property. During that dispute, shots were fired and one person was injured.”

In spite of the fact that Riverside County has already sent the paperwork saying they wanted her held on her warrant, the jail said that none of her charges met the requirements because of the COVID restrictions. According to Sgt. Ellebrecht, “The jail refused her…We released her with a court date to appear.”

According to medical personnel on scene at 3 p.m., a 62-year-old man is being prepared to be taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the back.

“Possible suspect vehicle described as a newer model white Ford pickup, license plate possibly beginning with 49.”
