“Humboldt County Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) is reminding parents and caregivers about the importance of immunizations for their preteens ages 11 and 12 and teenagers.

“During December 2022, unvaccinated people were 2.6 times more likely to be hospitalized with COVID-19 than people who were vaccinated with at least a primary series,” says CDPH.

“Humboldt County Public Health reported today two new hospitalizations including a resident in their 60s and a resident aged 80 or older.”
