Hospice of Humboldt Hosts Advance Care Workshop June 20

Hospice of Humboldt invites the public to attend an Advance Care Workshop on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will be held in conference room at 3327 Timber Fall Court, in Eureka, CA.

Advance care planning is an important first step in preparing for a loved one’s passing. Hospice of Humboldt’s skilled social workers will guide participants in how to start conversations about advance care planning, choose someone to make health care decisions on their behalf, and create their own Advance Directive. Advance Directive forms will be available to complete during the workshop or to take home.

Additionally, Melissa Morwood, notary public, will be on hand (please bring a valid ID to take advantage of Melissa’s services).
