You appear to be conflating two completely different topics whose only commonality is the position of Supreme Court Justice. In Alito’s case, he has demonstrated on multiple occasions that he has a political opinion that actively supports Trump (i.e. the flags) which calls into question his veracity about a seemingly unrelated phone call that occurs right when Trump has an important request for the Court to decide on quickly. Trump is widely acknowledged for repeatedly breaking rules about decorum related to legal issues (e.g. the call to the Georgia Sec. of State to “just find him a few thousand votes” in 2020, taking classified documents and talking about them, etc.). And yet for some reason you picked on Justice Jackson talking about a completely unrelated issue as justification for your argument rather than acknowledging the possibility, if not the probability, of Trump and Scalia discussing the request, hence the wording of the AP article.
So it’s “decorum” that has you bothered? Foolishly I thought you were actually accusing him of some collusion on a substantial issue with a Supreme Court Justice for his personal gain.
