Musk likes hiring those overseas workers because he knows he can control them better.
He can get them sent back to home country if they get out of line.

There are 12 accredited mining schools in the U.S.
At the link you provided all the pictures were of male and female Caucasian students. Guess the Colorado school is not very diverse.

Once again. Do you have any statistics showing most of the graduates at mining schools are Asian?

True.

USA corporations hire most H1Bs cuz they work a lot cheaper and can be forced to work much longer hours in worse conditions. H1B engineers are usually worse than than the USA engineers they replace.

Quite often, using H1B employees is the 1st step in outsourcing that entire function out of the USA. Those initial H1B employees, after they are trained in the application, return to their country to lead the outsourced project.

There is much more industrial espionage with H1B employees.

Pretty sure it says more about the Department of Education and blue states’ approach to education than anything else. Get rid of the Federal Department of Education, get rid of the DEI and ESG crap and other social indoctrination and teach our kids how to read, write and do arithmetic. Return Industrial Arts to high schools and teach our kids they can make six figures doing things with their hands instead of starving to death with a bachelors degree working as a barista.

Jealous much?. Oh well, never understood why the cement people come to live in Humboldt County, know nothing about nature, are scared of their shadow at night, see a bear and think t is going to kill them so they run, don’t work outdoors in natural resource fields in a natural resource based County, and as a result, end up working in an office protesting farming , forestry, and fishing. Their best bet to cure their wet moldy blues is to pack up their Chinese garbage and head back to Cement city. It’s so weird…..go figure.

Once people understand that environmentalism is being used to implement communism, it makes a lot more sense.

Former Czech president Vaclav Klaus tried to warn us that any brand of environmentalism calling for centralized planning of the economy under the slogan of “protecting nature” is nothing less than a reincarnation of communism, or new communism.

Great point! It’s far past time to crush this man caused climate scam once and for all. Way to many cement people are using it to steal money and livelihoods from those who live in the country. This, while they munch down on yellowfin, ribeye, and organic orchard fruit, wear leather jackets and carry leather purses, guzzle wine from farmed Zinfandel grapes, and jet to faraway places mucking the destinations up for the locals. It needs to be stopped. They can raise their own animals to butcher in their cement backyards and grow their own vineyard in the vacant lot between the two skyscrapers down the block. If they can’t, they should consider tofu, catfish from the local cement impounded lake, and Himalayan blackberries growing out of the cracks of cement sidewalks.

Need expanded Braceros Program, employers can bring them on for six months of they house them and assure they all return home at the end to apply again next year, deserters then employer banned from program in future. Expand and accelerate meritocracy based legal immigration. Robots and AI going to replace much of the labor demand in future so can’t have unskilled remain that’ll become unproductive social services drain

The proposal:

Donald Trump is trying to save the free speech rights of 170 million US TikTok users by petitioning courts to stop the corrupt fascist police state from forcing a shutdown the last day of Dementia Joe’s term.

AI overview
On July 31, 2020, President Donald Trump announced a decision ordering China’s ByteDance to divest ownership of the application, and threatened to shut down its U.S. operations through executive action as soon as August 1 if the company did not comply.
Trump flip flops more than a fish out of water.

Or maybe, he’s found a way to put tariffs on any data one receives through TikTok.

Another disappointing AI response. The wrong question gets the wrong answer. The issue is not whether Trump has a desire to shut off TikTok free speech or whether he likes or dislikes China. “Trump, who tried to ban TikTok in 2020 but was blocked by the courts, suggested in Friday’s court filing that he could negotiate a political resolution to the matter before the court needs to rule.” He wants to negotiate a settlement and the law, which frankly is not likely to get past the Supreme Court, prevents that. To what end is unclear. ““President Trump takes no position on the underlying merits of this dispute,” wrote D. John Sauer, Trump’s lawyer who is also the president-elect’s pick for U.S. solicitor general. “Instead, he respectfully requests that the Court consider staying the Act’s deadline for divestment of January 19, 2025, while it considers the merits of this case, thus permitting President Trump’s incoming Administration the opportunity to pursue a political resolution of the questions at issue in the case.”

No, I asked AI the exact right question for my reply to GS’s ignorant statement

We all know you don’t like AI. It’s here to stay, people are going to use it. Get over it.
If I had posted an article saying the same thing would that have made a difference? AI just made it easier and quicker to say what I wanted to say.

As far as the rest of your post goes I see nothing that denies Trump flip flopped on the issue.
It seems you have taken the liberty of deciding what the issue is.

No. I would have still called it pointless. But at least you might have stumbled on a point had you not found it easier to let AI do your looking for you.
And it’s not that I don’t like AI, although it is brutally wasteful of resources. Depending on its use, it could be very productive. But not for commenting where the point is to know what people think. It’s that it has made it even easier for humans to remain ignorant because it does the search and presents a packaged result. It’s making thinking like McDonald’s makes food- easy, unhealthy and flawed. McDonald’s is here to stay too. That doesn’t the rest of the world has to consume it.
And your last paragraph is worse. You seem to have totally missed that Trump has not changed from wanting TikTok banned but wants to use the threat for some sort of gain. So maybe AI is not as crippling to everyone’s thinking as I believe.

Amazing:
Before the election, only 37% of Americans thought that the 2024 Presidential election would be fair.

https://pac.org/impact/few-americans-believe-2024-elections-will-be-honest-and-open

The most distrusted source of info was: First, social media, second was mainstream media, third was Republican candidates, fourth was Democrat candidates. Next was, Super Pacs, foreign governments, major companies.

Trust in election improved dramatically after 2024.

Bernie Sanders Op-Ed on Fox News…Say what you want about Bernie being a communist or whatever but I have always appreciated his brashness in calling out the wealth disparity in our country and his criticisms of the political power wielded by that wealth- even in his DEM party! Neither party likes him and that’s because they are BOTH controlled by the uber-wealthy. So I like Bernie! I may not agree with him on everything but I do agree with him on his outspoken points on the widening wealth gap and 3rd world appearance of America. He says we are headed to “oligarchy”. I disagree- I think we are already there. Jimmy Carter called it an oligarchy back in 2015 when the Citizens United ruling went down. Here is the article on Bernie Sanders’ op-ed printed yesterday….https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/sen-bernie-sanders-two-americas-people-vs-billionaires

The real problem with the Citizens United ruling is that American voters believe what is promised in speeches, the titles of bills or the advertising. They will not exert themselves even a bit to look. Not do something but just look. It is not that the wealthy can buy votes with their PACs or but the public is so willing to sell them. They hang onto to the people that say soothing things and never bother to look at what they actually have done.
We have an AOC’s tax-the-rich-dress belief system where a politician can get subsidized by the wealthiest powers, wearing a designer gown to go to an event only the wealthiest attend, and still get a pass because she had a sign on it saying tax the rich. I’m sure I could find an equivalent thing on the other side but AOC was the most blatant rubbing of the public’s nose in her total disregard for her constituency since Trump announced he could do anything and the public would still vote for him. And she still was reelected.
On that vein, what has Sanders actually done that he should be believed?

Another new year approaches. A year which signals a new beginning and hope. A wave of relief from serfdom has been lifted. Even the Democrats know this and realize the truth. This is evidenced by their continued futile efforts, to this very day, to pick axe potholes into freshly paved country roads while ignoring empty brain Scrooge and Zinfandel Hieroglyphic. Speaking in tongues, literally. A form of self sabotage. Coyote Boulder, Buffalo drop. Lemming leap. Never learn. Get a truck with big wheels, Progressives. Otherwise, learn how to change your own flat tire. Protip: The Ring got thrown into a volcano by the garbage people/serfs/Magots/hobbits-racists/losers/scum. Game over.
