The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at the time of release. Please keep in mind work is weather permitting and subject to change. Caltrans will suspend most work on Northern California highways from Thursday, Nov. 28, through Sunday, Dec. 1, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. However, in the case of unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary for Caltrans crews to respond to emergency situations
Del Norte County
U.S. 101 (35.8/36.5) – Construction at the Dr. Fine Bridge near Smith River will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA
Humboldt County
Route 36 (11/11.5) – Bridge work near Pamplin Grove will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA
Route 36 (19.9/20.1) – Tree work near the Van Duzen River Bridge 4-98 will occur on Friday, December 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P36BA
Route 36 (25.3/25.4) – Bridge work east of Bridgeville will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA
Route 36 (25.6/25.7) – Emergency work near the Caltrans Bridgeville Maintenance Station will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C36DA
Route 96 (.01/.2) – Utility work in Willow Creek from Jct Route 299 to the Willow Creek Bridge 4-135 will occur on Monday and Tuesday, December 2-3. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#P96BA
U.S. 101 (.9) – Road work south of Klamath will begin on Tuesday, December 3. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101LB
U.S. 101 (81.3/83.9) – Landscape work from north of Eureka to the Bayside Cutoff will begin on Tuesday, December 3. Northbound lane closures will be in effect overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101FD
U.S. 101 (82.7) – Construction work at the Indianola Cutoff will continue. Southbound 101 access is currently unavailable due to a median closure. Southbound motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#C101FD
Route 169 (32.3/32.5) – Construction work west of Lower Weitchpec School Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C169BA
Route 200 (2.3) – Tree work west of Mad River Manes will occur on Monday, December 2. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P200AA
Route 255 (2/8.4) – Utility work between Samoa and Arcata will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P255CA
Route 299 (0.7/5.4) – Paving work east of Arcata continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C299HA
Route 299 (11/11.4) – Construction about 11 miles from U.S. 101 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C299FA
Route 299 (11/17.1) – Guardrail work east of Blue Lake will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C299RA
Route 299 (22.5/24.5) – Utility work from Saber Tooth Road to Chezem Road will begin on Monday, December 2. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
Route 299 (31.4/33.1) – Construction work west of the East Fork Campground will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C299LA
Route 299 (38.9/39.5) – Utility work in Willow Creek between Country Club Road and Panther Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
Lake County
Route 20 (1.1/2.4) – Construction work from Blue Lakes Road to Irvine Avenue will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P20KA
Route 20 (15.2/16.5) – Utility work in Lucerne from Bartlett Springs Road to Foothill Drive will occur on Monday, December 2. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20AA
Route 20 (30.6) – Utility work east of Clearlake Oaks at Red Rock Road will occur on Friday, December 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20AA
Route 29 (7.7/9.2) – Road work near Grange Road will begin on Tuesday, December 3. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P29BA
Route 175 (21/21.5) – Utility work will occur south of Whispering Pines on Tuesday, December 3. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P175BA
Mendocino County
Route 1 (.6/1.6) – Caltrans has granted an encroachment permit for the Gualala Lions Club Lighted Truck Parade from Center Street to Robinson Reef Drive on Saturday, November 30. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists can expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1FA
Route 1 (31.1/31.6) – Bridge work at the Elk Creek Bridge 10-120 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1WA
Route 1 (51.4/51.9) – Bridge work north of Mendocino at the Jack Peters Creek Bridge 01-43484 from Lansing Street to south of Road 500D. Overnight full closures will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 3-4 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should use an alternative route. LC#C1VA
Route 1 (51.4/51.9) – Bridge work north of Mendocino at the Jack Peters Creek Bridge 01-43484 from Lansing Street to south of Road 500D. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA
Route 1 (75.4/76.1) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1T
Route 1 (82.2/82.9) – Road work from the Portal Rock Vista Point to the Devonte Vista Point continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1BB
Route 1 (87.8/103.2) – Road work north of Rockport from Usal Road to Jct Route 271 in Leggett. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1QA
Route 20 (87.8/103.2) – Electrical work from the North Calpella Overcrossing 10-206 to Road A will occur on Monday and Tuesday, December 2-3. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C20BB
Route 20 (34.3.8/34.5) – Road work in Willits from Muir Mill Road to Monica Lane will begin on Tuesday, December 3. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C20BB
U.S. 101 (30.8) – Electrical work at Route 20 will occur on Monday and Tuesday, December 2-3. The northbound offramp will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101WC
U.S. 101 (33.7/43.2) – Sign work south of Willits from Route 20 to Uva Drive in Redwood Valley will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#M101QD
U.S. 101 (48.9/55.2) – Paving work near the North Willits Railroad Crossing to Big Trails Drive continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 20-minute delays. LC#C101SA
U.S. 101 (59.3/59.9) – Bridge work south of Laytonville at Jct Route 162 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C101SB
U.S. 101 (92.5/99) – Tree work from south of Confusion Hill to Leggett will begin on Monday, December 2. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P101HA
Route 128 (20.6) – Road work east of Philo Greenwood Road will occur on Monday, December 2. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C128HA
