Annual Coats for Kids Drive in Humboldt

It is time again for Coats For Kids and this year marks our 10th Anniversary for this event. We sponsor this event to benefit the Boys And Girls Club of the Redwoods. Let me tell you a little about them.

The Boys And Girls Club of the Redwoods services 1200 Humboldt County children a year, with 300 children a day coming through their doors, in multiple locations. It is our hope to provide a coat for each and every child they serve – before Christmas.

The event will start on Monday, Nov. 25th and run through Wednesday, Dec. 18th. Distribution of coats will take place at the end of that week, right before the schools winter holiday break begins.

And a TBA location in Fortuna.
