Wow- how do you get a misdemeanor DUI? I thought they were all automatic felonies?!
First ones free!
Well, not exactly free, but it’s usually a misdemeanor unless it’s a repeat or someone got injured or killed.
But I agree – first one should be a felony, a month in jail and forfeit your car – the current penalties are obviously not a deterrent.
He’d was arrested for driving on a suspended license twice previously. Why the license was suspended was not said but likely this wasn’t his first rodeo on DUI either.
