Is there a way to donate to RHBB anonymously?
I’ve had some folks approach me on the street and hand me cash. I’ve had folks tuck cash into cards and mail them (I don’t recommend that but so far as I know those have all gotten to me.) That said, I am the only one who sees the donations and I don’t betray names to law enforcement. Lisa and I have discussed names of commenters at times as she also moderates comments. And when she has been the reason we have gotten a donation, I have let her know that but, in general, if you donate online, I’m the only one who will see it and I once cried pitifully on a witness stand when I thought I was going to jail rather than give up
the name ofinformation on a source. I’ve refused to give up names of at least two commenters off the top of my head even when threatened with lawsuits. I’d do the same for those who donate.Ok thanks. No not rude but you should consider it. ETH = Ethereum, the 2nd largest crypto behind Bitcoin. Its a easier, cheaper and anonymous way to send money, perfect for situations like this. I’d rather donate ETH than trigger a taxable event by selling it for cash.
I would bet eventually you’ll be adding some sort of crypto wallet, but for now I’d probably be the only one donating to it.
Since I went off to college I’ve learned the value of adapting to new ways, new tech, but I’m old enough now that I question how much time and effort I’m going to have to put into something and whether the effort will pay off before I die or at least before I quit running RHBB. If I find an easy way to add krypto wallet, I’ll do it though.

First I have to say I misspoke because I was thinking about names. It was info on a source not the name of a source.
But…A long time ago (2015) and in a city far away (Eureka is a little bit far away from SoHum), there was a murder trial (later dropped to lower charges). I was subpoenaed to testify because the defendant, Ben Carter ( https://kymkemp.com/2015/07/28/ben-carter-convicted-on-charges-of-being-a-felon-in-possession-of-a-handgun/ ) had talked to me while on the run from law enforcement in order to try and clear his wife and I wrote an article ( https://kymkemp.com/2014/05/04/homicide-suspect-ben-carter-gives-his-side/ ).
My attorney, Mark Harris (really good at his job and also someone who just makes life feel more amusing and interesting) negotiated with the DA’s office that I would testify to ONLY that which I wrote about publicly–nothing that Mr. Carter did not consent to be published. However, when I got on the stand, the Deputy DA began asking me to testify to Mr. Carter’s email address which hadn’t been published. I couldn’t morally do that. I’ve never been in trouble with the law and the judge was telling me I had to answer the question. I kept saying I couldn’t answer. I started to cry. I figured I was going to jail. (In my mind, I’m sobbing but that may be just how scared I was inside not how I was actually acting. But the court bailiff felt so sorry for me he got me a glass of water and I was shaking like a leaf.) And then Ben Carter saw how scared I was and persuaded his attorney to just stipulate that it was his email address. So I didn’t have to answer the question and I didn’t go to jail. I’ve got a huge soft spot for him as a result. So I was saved from my first time in jail by the guy who had been facing homicide charges. Life is weird sometimes.

It seems to be working for him. A protein and fatty based diet (meat, eggs, milk, etc…) is actually good for a majority of humans, I recommend those plus lots of green goodies from the garden. Some foods where good a few years ago, and still in other countries. But here the food ingredients are full of secret chemicals under ”natural flavors”.
