Rachel Keen Chosen to Be Chief Financial Officer for Green Diamond Resource Company

 

 13-YEAR COMPANY VETERAN RACHEL KEEN CHOSEN TO BE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER FOR GREEN DIAMOND RESOURCE COMPANY

Green Diamond Resource Company, the family owned Seattle-based forest landowner and manager, announced the appointment of Rachel Keen to serve as the company’s chief financial officer. Keen has been with Green Diamond since 2011.
“We are getting the best of both worlds with Rachel. She is an invaluable employee with a depth of understanding of our diverse lines of business and a steady hand with the financial expertise to lead us into the future,” said Douglas Reed, president of Green Diamond Resource Company. “We are thrilled to move her into the role of chief financial officer as we continue to look to the long-term success of Green Diamond and the great work our teams do across the west and southeast regions of the United States.”
In her 13 years at Green Diamond, Keen served as Director of Finance and Accounting, Corporate Controller and Financial Reporting Manager. Prior to joining the company, she worked for Moss Adams LLP as a Senior Accountant in the Business Assurance practice.

Keen graduated from University of Washington Foster Business School in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Green Diamond Excellence Award recipient for her innovations and improvements to the company’s financial processes.
