7 stops between 101 and Willow Creek on hwy 299. Expected delays up to 75 minutes if you add them all up. This on a drive that would take about 45 minutes
Been going on way too long.
I agree. I appreciate the work on the roads. I know it is necessary but it’s a very long stretch to have so many stops and it’s taking way way way too long. I am over it.
These are all Caltrans make work keep budget projects. Here’s an idea, rather than having multiple projects going that never get finished, how about apply all resources to one project at a time, finish it in record time and move on to the next project…..also tie promotion to timeliness of projects and money saved that can be removed from future budjets…..I know I’m pissing in the wind.
With all respect ,you really don’t have a clue. The real waste is in June before the new fiscal year starts. They have to use up the money they were alloted for fiscal year or they lose it.I spent many years working all over district 1
