Collision on Hwy 299 Near Blue Lake Blocks Eastbound Lanes

This afternoon, a traffic collision in a construction zone on Highway 299 near Blue Lake at mile marker 7.5 has blocked eastbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Traffic Incident Information Page.

The collision involved a Ford Excursion and a Subaru Outback, the CHP site says.  An ambulance is responding to the scene.

Buddy’s Towing was called to the scene and is en route to clear the vehicles involved.
