[UPDATE 7:04 p.m.] Fire Breaks Out in Myers Flat off Myers Avenue

Tanker 96 and an air attack are on scene.

Emergency responders are working now to contain the blaze. Local residents should try to avoid the area.

UPDATE 7:04 p.m.: The Tanker is returning to base (we believe fully loaded but that is unconfirmed). The helicopter is still committed to the fire for probably the next half hour, according to dispatch speaking over the scanner.
