[Update] Grey Van Smoking After Colliding with Guardrail on Highway 101

First responders are en route to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 101 near Metropolitan Road.

Scanner traffic indicates an occupant of a grey van has been injured during the collision. The vehicle is reported to be in the center divider and smoking.

The first unit on scene is reporting that the vehicle collided with the guardrail. They requested that the #1 lane of southbound Highway 101 be shut down as they deal with the collision.

Rio Dell Fire assisted the driver out of the vehicle. The vehicle, they say, is smoking though no flames are visible.

An ambulance has been requested.
