Apparently the “incoming ” (lack of) students don’t read/care about this Report…

Pay to play. CalPoly tooting it’s own horn on this site sure hits enough. The Dean of Supplying Data to Commercial Rating Publishers has done an outstanding job. For those interested, the link to exacts what counts is in the press release.

Or maybe, after reading the previous comments, CPH is actually a decent school. Some people seem to have a vested interest in dragging on the school for reasons….cranky reasons.

When my veteran marine stepson went to Humboldt, his classmates called him a baby killer. I am a humboldt alumni, and embarrassed to be one. My stepson saved babies in Iraq, he didnt kill any. He was ordered to fight as a combat marine squad leader and saw first hand the brutality of Saddam’s regime, and was welcomed by tortured families. He endured brutal conditions. The ratings mentioned are flawed. I wouldn’t think of recommending Humboldt to a veteran.

Someone called him a name and so it’s a terrible school? Seems like being a marine didn’t toughen him up like it should have!

Are three semesters enough to base this rating/ranking on?

like it or not, the quality of work produced by the students in outside contracts reflects on the quality of the school. This school is producing unqualified workers. Very low quality. This is not an opinion, it is a fact
