Blue Lake Family Asks for Help After Devastating House Fire Claims the Lives of Several Pets

A GoFundMe has been set up for the Blue Lake residents that lost their home and several pets in a devastating blaze earlier this month.

The May 15 fire destroyed the home and claimed the lives of the family dog, Scooter, and the family’s cats, Adele and Charlotte, according to the residents’ daughter who set up the GoFundMe on her mom and stepdad’s behalf. Luckily, a heroic neighbor was able to save Gunner, the family’s other dog, who suffered from burnt retinas.
