They are predicting more significant snowfall for Monday night into Tuesday. The big ’82 snowstorm started the last day of March. Just sayin’.
I remember, i was living in an old fashioned canvas tent
Remember when we had that big snowstorm for Memorial Day? Miracles can happen! It might snow all through May- now wouldn’t that be something?!!

Wow, I haven’t seen this article before. I was president of the HSC in 1980 and knew many of the folks mentioned. What a walk through the past! Thanks for posting.
I hope not! I’ll be on a house boat fishing trip on Shasta Lake the 2nd week of May……
Ugh
Dad always said there is snow on 299 on the last Friday in March as he had to go to Hoopa and Willow Creek to call on customers and was expected back for inventory weekend at work and he had to fight the snow every year he worked there (14). I have paid attention to his prediction for years and looks like its true again!
