Toys For Tots Looking for Volunteers and Donations

This is a press release from Toys for Tots:

Our 2022 Toys for Tots Campaign has started. We will need volunteers for toy collection sites at Costco North, Costco South, and Target from 10-4pm. We need at least one adult and two additional adults/teens for each site every Saturday and Sunday ending Sunday December 18th. We will assess the weather and contact the volunteers the evening prior to canceling. 

This is a great opportunity to join with family, friends, neighbors for a few hours to have fun and help the community.

We also need five volunteers for set up and take down and eight to ten volunteers for distribution of toys. The two Distribution sites will at the old Ray’s Food Place in the McKinleyville Shopping Center and the old Blockbuster Video store at the Eureka Mall, Eureka 

McKinleyville Site at the old Rays Food Place in the McKinleyville Shopping Center on Anna Sparks Way (behind McDonald’s):
Set up – Friday December 9th from 9am-3pm.
Distribution – 

Saturday – December 10th from 9am-3pm and 6pm-8pm. Sunday – December 11th from 9am-3pm
Monday – December 12th from 9am-3pm.
Take down – Tuesday December 13th from 9am-3pm. 

Eureka site at Eureka Mall at the old Blockbuster Video Store on Harris (by WinCo) Set up – Friday December 16th from 9am-3pm.
Distribution –
Saturday – December 17th from 9am-3pm and 6pm-8pm. 

Sunday – December 18th from 9am-3pm.
Monday – December 19th from 9am-3pm and 6pm-8pm. Tuesday – December 20th from 9pm-3pm.
