Dang! A guy just got hit & run a day or 2 ago @ Harris & I. What the hell people need to be paying more attention out there, especially after dark! Prayers for the injured🙏🙏

I used to not believe the frogger comments…

They are pretty accurate, actually…

That being said, there is also a great deal of terrible, inconsiderate, high speed driving as well…

Combined, it’s a recipe for frequent problems.

Best wishes for those involved.

Not knowing the cause I won’t lay blame but I would like to mention that so many pedestrians wear dark clothing after dark. We don’t think about it but when you are driving and they suddenly step out it’s hard to see them. A simple white scarf or something would help. We should be proactive as pedestrians too.

It would also help if drivers were to pay attention to the roads instead of to their cell phones. And leave earlier, so they don’t have to do 90 through city streets.

Tell that to Rex, turning off H to 5th street phone to his ear in a hurry

Rex, HA! He must be hard up for money. He can’t even buy a ticket to St. Bernard football games, has to stand on his truck, parked on Henderson, and peer over the fence.

Wow, this just seems to be happening on a fairly regular basis. I don’t know who was at fault, but I sure hope the pedestrian was not injured too badly. This Nissan Rogue driver also has to live with what happened. Just another bad day driving in Eureka.

Harris and H is a terrible intersection. H becomes 2 way and both sides turn onto Harris, lane switching, crossing over each other.

It’s pitch black at that time. Terrible.
