[UPDATE: Home Again!] Two Dogs Missing in the Salmon Creek Area

Black pups and Rottweiler

Missing dogs

Two dogs are missing in the Salmon Creek area west of Miranda.

“They’ve been missing since 8 this morning,” the owner told us. “They’ve never been gone like this. One is a really old Rottweiler named Noodle and the other is a big black puppy, mastiff shepherd mix named Ruger we call him Ruggie.”

She added, “My family and I are super concerned. We’ve hiked our property and our neighbors let us hike theirs…We found their tracks but eventually lost them…They are both very friendly and have collars with tags.”

If you have any information, please call 707-498-6667.

UPDATE Friday the 18th: According to the owner, “Great news, my dogs came home today! A little skinny but unhurt.”

You probably know this, but try putting an article of your clothing out on the road where they were last seen. This trick has led many a lost pup home – their sense of smell is phenomenal.

Theses type dogs are known to run deer for miles often killing the fawns that cannot escape.

My dogs do not chase deer! We have a big apple orchard and deer come in and eat the apples freely. My entire family is heartbroken our babies are missing so unless you have something helpful to add please refrain from commenting.
