[UPDATE 3:53 p.m.] About 2000 Without Power From Rio Dell to Bull Creek

A large power outage began about 1:24 p.m. in Southern Humboldt. The lack of electricity stretches from Rio Dell to Bull Creek. Currently, PG&E estimates the time of restoral will be 5:30 p.m.

A small fire about a 10th of an acre began roughly in the same time period up Tunnel Road in the Meadows Business Park south of Redway. We have not been able to confirm whether the two incidents are related.

UPDATE 3:53 p.m.: All customers have had power restored.
