Prayers for the motorcyclist that is down. I really hope the rider will make a full recovery for the major injuries. Hemorrhaging from the head is not good. I hope the rider was wearing a full-face helmet and not the soup bowl kind. I don’t know who was at fault, but people please keep a sharp eye out for motorcycle riders. Look good before you make a move, they could be in your blind spot, pull out between cars and so on. Too many riders have gone down lately. We need to try and stop this!

Where did you get that information about his brains coming out? Did he have a helmet on?

This is an incredibly inaccurate statement, and extremely insensitive to make for those whose loved one was involved.

You are very correct about Roscoe. I should have not asked him where he got his information and did the rider have a helmet on. If I have offended anyone related to the rider, I am deeply sorry for what I asked. Please excuse me I meant no harm.

A large number of vehicle, bicycle and motorcycle accidents are very graphic. To me it helps other drivers taking chances with their life to see what can happen in a blink of an eye. With this in their mind hopefully they will slow down and drive correctly. It just might save some lives from being lost.

This accident was a close friend of mine whom I’ve known my entire life. He is now out of the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery without any permanent damage. Thank you everyone for your concerns, make sure to hold your motorcycle riders extra tight.
