ADDITIONAL UPDATES

Slow the Spread: Get Vaccinated and Boosted for COVID-19

The risk for COVID-19 exposure and infection continues as a number of Californians remain unvaccinated and unboosted.

Real-world evidence continues to show that the vaccine prevents severe illness, hospitalization, and death. Public health officials urge Californians to get vaccinated and boosted as soon as possible.

It is recommended that every individual six months of age and older receive their primary COVID-19 vaccine series and booster dose, if eligible.

Find a vaccine near you by visiting myturn.ca.gov or calling 1-833-422-4255. The consent of a parent or legal guardian may be needed for those under age 18 to receive a vaccination. Visit Vaccinate All 58 to learn more about the safe and effective vaccines available for all Californians six months of age and older.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms, talk to a health care provider right away to learn if you qualify for treatment. You can also find Test to Treat locations that offer COVID-19 testing and free treatment. If you are uninsured, find free Test to Treat services at OptumServe sites.

Your Actions Save Lives

Protect yourself, family, friends and your community by following these prevention measures:

  • Sign-Up for COVID-19 Policy Alerts: COVID-19 Policy Alerts provide up-to-date information regarding CDPH COVID-19 guidance and policy, including changes to orders, mandatory guidance and more. Registrants will receive prompt email alerts to updated guidance and policy available on our website as well as accompanying translations. Sign-up for the COVID-19 Policy Alerts emails today.

  • Wear A Mask When Recommended or Required: Under California’s mask guidance, masks are strongly recommended for all individuals in most indoor settings. Masks are required for everyone in high transmission settings like emergency shelters, health care settings, correctional facilities, homeless shelters and long-term care facilities. Local jurisdictions may have additional requirements beyond the state requirements based on local conditions.

  • Upgrade Your Mask: Good fit and filtration continue to be the best way to get the most out of your mask. The best masks for preventing COVID-19 include the N95, KN95 and KF94. If you don’t have access to one of these masks, wear a surgical mask or a surgical mask with a cloth mask on top. If you choose a fabric mask, opt for one with three or more cloth layers. No matter what kind of mask you wear, check the fit by avoiding gaps above the nose or on the sides.

  • Isolation and Quarantine Guidance: CDPH no longer recommends quarantine for individuals who are exposed to COVID-19 and have no symptoms. For more information please see: Isolation and Quarantine Guidance. Additionally, CDPH added recommendations for workers in certain high-risk settings (healthcare settings, long-term care settings and shelters, among others).

  • My Vaccine Record is an easy way to show vaccination status at venues or businesses that require proof of vaccination. Visit myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov today to get your vaccine record.

  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Travel Tips: Delay travel (both domestic and international) until you are fully vaccinated. See the CDC’s full travel guidance. If you decide to travel, the state’s travel advisory recommends that all travelers arriving in California test for COVID-19 within three to five days after arrival, regardless of their vaccination status.

  • Add Your Phone to the Fight: Sign up for COVID-19 exposure notifications from CA Notify. Also, individuals who test positive for COVID-19 – including those who test at home – are able to alert others of a potential exposure more quickly and conveniently. Individuals can now initiate the notification process as soon as they are aware of their positive test result. For more information, please visit the “Notify Others” page on CA Notify.

  • Answer the call or text if a contact tracer from the CA COVID Team or your local health department tries to connect.

  • Check with your local health department about local conditions. Local health jurisdictions can implement protocols that are stricter than state guidance.

Watch “2000 Mules” and get back to us. The numbers they extrapolate are debatable, but the acts of ballot stuffing are verifiably true. Also watch the video in Georgia where they told everyone to go home because of a water leak and then they pulled totes from underneath tables and started counting those ballots.

https://www.kusi.com/security-camera-footage-from-atlanta-ga-allegedly-shows-ballots-being-counted-overnight/

Reuters can call it false, but I can see with my own eyes what occurred.

From your article:
Other election workers started to pack up, Sterling told The Associated Press in an interview. They put prepared ballots back in boxes and away under a table “to close out for the night.” Members of the media and Republican observers began to leave the building too.

That is NOT what occurred. Those suitcases were placed there before anyone started counting that morning. They were hidden underneath a table with fabric covering the sides and were pulled out AFTER poll workers and poll watchers were instructed to leave because of a water leak in the building. Otherwise, no one would have left and ballot counting would have continued unfettered through the night (like every other presidential election). I don’t care what most people believe are the “facts.” Most people are idiots and I’m not blind.

No, Ranger, you’re not confused (and I’m confident you meant that sardonically). It’s the panickers who are confused, but what confuses the rest of us is how it came to be that so many bought into the bs. It has been a head-scratcher and an eye-opener. Didn’t know there were so many sheep genes in the human makeup.

CDC already admitted most of the covid public h health guidance was costly, ineffective, and misguided. Their credibility is shot to hell by their own admission yet so many amongst us continue to cling to the past misinformation, apparently unwilling to admit their mistake believing g Fauci all along.

BTW, everyone should pay their taxes but let’s hope we don’t see IRS partisan targeting

COVID-19 is a type of coronavirus, not a type of influenza. Even if COVID-19 was comparable to influenza, it would still not make it a type of influenza, which is genetically different.

You can have an asymptomatic infection and still have long-term neurological effects. This should not be a seasonal infection, but a disease that is controlled. Unfortunately, the FDA decided not to allow the Novavax vaccine until just recently, and the CDC has not made any effort at contact tracing.

In the US influenza numbers have long been estimates. The CDC publishes a likely range of infection/death numbers because it isn’t monitored nearly closely enough to produce anything absolute.

37 deaths a day in a state over 40,000,000 people. Not worth taking peoples jobs and livelihoods cause of an ill advised mandate. Sounds illegal. I bet research would show of the 37 deaths a day, would be happening even w/o covid. We may never know.

That’s quite a few actually, King. But I wonder why so many people even care. As an old guy, a young woman told me her generation just doesn’t care (about older people). Most of the people dying are supposed to be unvaxinated, so who cares? With so many people that seem to be anti-vaxers; why do vaxers care? So many people that believe being vacinated protects them; why do they care?

Deaths non covid related are up 40% above the normal death rate. Gee. I wonder what could have caused that?

Of course, if I had gotten the jab, and later on, had second thoughts, I would care.

Actually it was you that posted a GIF stating…

Quote:

Unquote.

I said “apparently”.

I was merely agreeing with you.

And referenced another quote,

“…everyone, don’t make gif’s a constant…”

Was that so hard to understand?

Who has?

🤔

What’s so confusing about that?

Nobody else has.

I don’t think it needs further clarification.

Do you?

Is there something wrong with implying confusion?

Is there something wrong with agreeing with it?

If so, what’s the problem?

Unvaccinated?

Thinking about getting vaccinated with the new bivalent vaccine when it comes out?

Sorry, you, or your young child, or anyone else unvaccinated, won’t be eligible.

You’re going to have to get two doses of the old, outdated, obsolete vaccine, first!

Now why would that be???

Over 100,000 people died from drug overdoses in the USA in 2021,and in Ca, there were over 10,000 that died in 2021 Those should be the daily statistics that the CDPH should focus on as Fentanyl, from China and other deadly drugs are being brought in through are southern border every day.

You do realize people are CHOOSING to take drugs. Do you suggest somehow its possible to eliminate them coming in vehicles through points of entry? Or are you saying we should have safe injection sites where narcan is available so there are far less o.d deaths? Or are you saying parents should be alot more vigilant to make sure children truly understand the risk of hard drugs? Very complex problem with no easy solution, people blaming the president and vice president for not keeping there kids off drugs, well thats a ridiculous point of view to this problem.

Good point that sometimes parents can only do so much, and some are out of it themselves. Maybe more early education about reality of drugs at school to help fill the gaps with poor parenting? I also mentioned its a complex problem with not a” its the democrats fault” answer.

Prohibition has long taught us that supply side solutions are no solution at all. Demand side solutions are our only hope. Unfortunately, those kinds of solutions are not clear cut and require that we agree to spend our collective resources on supportive and compassionate programs instead of punitive ones. That’s not a paradigm that seems appealing to the modern American mindset.

We didn’t end up the most militarized and imprisoned nation on earth on accident. Drug abuse is downstream of those cultural priorities

Will birds get caught in garden netting?
Can Trap and Injure Birds. Sadly, poorly-installed netting allows birds to enter it, and then traps them inside. Smaller birds, like tiny sparrows and baby birds, can get tangled up in the mesh itself, causing damage to their beaks and other extremities.

Welcome to our special in depth report on the new Unknown Cause of Death phenomenon!

“Good Evening. People are dropping like flies from a mysterious killer called ‘unknown case of death.’ So tonight we’re bringing you a special report on this unknown case of death killer so we can steer your thinking in the right direction. I like it when a good plan comes together.

Unknown case of death has even become the leading cause of death in Alberta, Canada. Which is ruled over by Justin Trudeau. So just use your imagination on that correlation. In Alberta, unknown cause of death is causing even more death than heart disease, strokes and diabetes. Combined.”

Alcohol-Related Emergencies and Deaths in the United States
An estimated 95,000 people (approximately 68,000 men and 27,000 women) die from alcohol-related causes annually, making alcohol the third-leading preventable cause of death in the United States.
Feelings of depression after quitting drinking are a completely normal, if uncomfortable, side effect of long-term alcohol use. Depression in people with alcohol use disorder can be a sign of mental illness that has been present all along or can develop after quitting drinkinG.
More and more studies are showing the positive effects of vitamin D on depression.
