Jefferson Francis Frye Jr (Buddah) born to Jefferson Francis Frye Sr and Laurie Ann Byrd (Frye) on April 19th 1989 in Eureka, Ca passed away July 28th 2022 at the tender age of 33 in Hayfork, Ca

Jeff Jr is survived by his Parents Jeff Sr of Orick, Ca and Laurie Frye of Fortuna, Ca, his 3 sisters Alicia, Stephanie, and Breanna Frye all of Humboldt county Ca., as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. And finally all of his extended family and friends whom he loved just the same.

Jeff Jr (Buddah) is preceded in death by grandmother’s Diana DeMoe and Iva Read of Eureka, as well as his great grandparents, great aunts and uncles, and his baby cousin Nancy DeMoe aka Lil’ Red.

Buddah moved to Hayfork, Ca along with his parents and little sisters in October 2005, and even though both parents have since moved and his sisters have grown up and started families and moved on, Hayfork was his true home, his true North.

Buddah (crazy at times) was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Remember its never goodbye but “I’ll catch you later.” Fly high Buddah.

A celebration of life will be held on September 3rd 2022 at 1:00 Pm at the North Jetty (South Spit) for those that would like to come. No large services will be held and Buddah will be interred in Humboldt County, Ca.

I am very sorry to hear of Buddha passing. I met my wife with Buddha on a random job in the hills, what seems like ages ago. There’s no words that can explain the kindness. RIP bud.

We love you so much Buddha, you will forever be loved and missed, you were such a kind soul, it’s so sad to think that one of beloved family members have gone at such a young age, you had so many more years ahead, fly high my dude as you would say to me 🤙 love you until we meet again ❤️
